Nah, not a mutt. I do know that much.
A guy down the street has a Kennel registered American Bulldog, looks identical to my Dawg. He also says its the American Bulldog.
Although "both" vets guaranteed he isn't mixed with anything.
Maybe try another vet ? Or who could say exactly ?
If the vets can't agree on the breed, how are they an authority on whether or not it's a mixed breed? I'd probably go with what the breeder says but, the muzzle doesn't look American Bulldog to me.
Does it really matter? They all have one thing in common. Every dog on that list loves them some tasty kids.

Pit bulls eat kids? lots of people have pits and kids, pitt's adore their owners like no other breed, if you let your pitt (or other dog) go unsocialized it may well see a kid coming on it's property a threat. They are animal aggressive at times and must be monitored closely.
