Thing is, America started the trend, so they will always get the worst rap/credit for it.

I've only seen people like that on TV, never in real life. But maybe thats because I live in the fittest state in the country and not the south, or shop at walmart

you havent spent much time in the kitchen have you? It's an energy saving technique: since you are heating up the oven to a high temp for a significant amount of time, its a waste to cook only one item(1pizza or 1 roast of meat) so you prepare multiple dishes/items and cook them at the same time.

better to heat the oven once and run it another 40 minutes(cooking 2 things at slightly different temps) than to cook the pizza for lunch/let the oven cool down/ heat the oven again a couple of hours later to make desert for dinner.

Far better imo. I commented in a different thread about mid range pizzas. They pretty much uniformly suck. They look enough like a shop pizza to get you excited, but invariably lead to disappointment. I like bottom end, and super deluxe frozen pizzas, but seldom get the deluxe, cause I can get something good at a shop for a similar price. Bottom end frozen pizzas are good on their own. They don't look like a real pizza, so you don't expect one. They're just a tasty snack.

Domino's new pizza is 100x better than frozen pizza, no joke. I will eat the shit out of Domino's pizza before I touch the shit they sell at grocery stores. Fucking nasty.
