Consider getting a Take and Bake from a grocery store. Generally good pizza at a good price and there's the added aroma permeating the house.

A meat feast pizza from Pizza Hut in the UK tastes like each topping has been individually fried first. They seem to gone a bit light on the cheese as well.

We don't have Little Caesar in the UK.

Can't say I love any chain-pizza but out of the OP's choices I'd go with Pizza Hut... fortunately I live about 2 miles from Wooster st in New Haven Ct no shortage of fantastic pizza (or Italian food) places for me.

Believe it or not my favorite chain pizza is still Papa Johns sawdust-crust and all!

The kids were in the mood for 'za a few weeks ago. We usually get Domino's pan pizza as the best compromise of price/taste in our area, but I had gotten a coupon that brought Pizza Hut down to $6 for a medium so I ordered a couple.

I thought the Pizza Hut offerings were MUCH better than Little Caesar's and significantly better than Domino's. We don't do pizza that often any more but I'd certainly consider PH again if the price is right. Unfortunately they're quite a bit further than Domino's and LC for us.

If it were me feeding a bunch of kids, I'd go LC. It's been almost a decade since I've had PH, but we'll get LC on the fly for a b-day party or get together for kids. It's cheap, less greasy and feeds more for the price. Kids don't really care where it comes from so their happy. TBH, I like their breadsticks and marinara dipping sauce too.

And the winner is...! Price wins in the end, #cheapdad

In the past, Pizza Slut for sure but today Caesars is better. Doesnt bother my stomach or gird either and the cheese is less plastic. I would try the new Dominos just to see if the box still tastes better. Papa Johns is really greasy now. Remember we are talking cheap pizza here. Mom and Pops when you can find them are usually better. Ahhh, Id kill for a vintage Godfathers.

Godfathers just returned to my state after a 20 year break. Sadly the store is about an hour away from me but more are coming.

Anyway, between PH and LC I'll take LC.

Today I would get a Costco Take'n'bake without a second thought.

At 23, with no money, no car, etc., it'd have been LC because there wasn't a Pizza Hut around, and $5 doesn't go much further many other places.

When I was a kid, Little Caesar's rectangular pizzas were awesome - you'd get two in those cardboard trays, wrapped in paper. Bliss. But it was just an anemic attempt at the true Best Pizza In The Universe.

Pizza Hut recently added a 50 cent service fee for placing an online order, fuck them.

I haven't had pizza from a chain in years until I ate a Dominos a couple months ago. It was the single worst pizza I've ever ate. I didn't know it was possible to make pepperoni bland and tasteless. The crust tasted like there was no salt or yeast used. The cheese looked nice but may as well have been plastic.

Last time I bought for kids I bought Little Caesar's. But then that's the only pizza establishment I'm familiar with these days.

Best to worst for the top 4 (subjectively): Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Dominos, Little Caesars. They all pale in comparison to more expensive Italian family joints but at least with my preferred style from Pizza Hut I'm not left feeling like I made too large a compromise. A lot of my preference has to do with a higher topping and sauce to crust ratio. If I have to pay for double toppings the price rises to where there are better family owned joints.

They still do the square “Detroit style” pizzas:

I’d defiantly take a LC Deep Deep pepperoni vs any Pizza Hut pie.
