Remember that Pcmag reviews the LCD from a business prospective. 16 ms means nothing to these guys pretty much. Many of the 16ms LCD monitors use the same panel, so each model can't be too far off from each other.

I have done a lot of research lately and while this is not my favorite among the group of displays based on the AUO 16ms panel, it is by no means junk as comparisons to Princeton would imply. If it was junk it would be priced like junk every day. Planar is a reputable manufacturer. Along with the common three year warranty is included a two day replacement service.

As for the colors, all fast panels currently available are limited to about 16.2M instead of the full 16.7 and furthermore they all achieve that by rapid switching from a pallete of 262K as you can read in THG's recent review where they admit without saying directly that their previous article on the subject was misleading and even their still favorite BOEHydis 20ms panel employs the same technique.

With fatcash and CC cashback some people will get this as low as $272. For that price you could do hella worse! In fact, you could do worse by buying a diferent colored model from Dell or a number of other merchants today for $500 and up!In short, don't be a thread crappa. But do your own dilligent research before making any purchase.
