Although we had anticipated being able to ship your order within the quoted lead time, we are experiencing an unexpected delay due to unanticipated demand and supply constraints. We estimate that it may take at least sixty days for us to fulfill all outstanding orders, although some customers may receive their order earlier due to product availability. We apologize for this inconvenience, and are doing everything we can to get your order out to you as quickly as possible. If your payment method was by credit card, your card will not be charged until the monitor is shipped.
Note that by law, we are required to obtain your affirmative consent to this delay before shipping your product. Please be aware that unless we receive your consent to this delay by replying to this email (US_DELL_NOTIFY@DELL.COM) by 9pm central time on November 20, 2003, we will need to cancel your order. Your email should specify that you wish to continue with your original order if that is your decision.
Alternatively, if you do not wish to wait for the Monitor you ordered, we can offer you a special price on a high-performance Mitsubishi NX86 18" flat panel display for $385.00 before taxes and shipping, $164.00 lower than Dell's regular price of $549.00.
