Plane used by Sen. Wellstone crashes in Minnesota - Senator Paul Wellstone confirmed dead :(

Breaking news on CNN right now. Not sure of Wellstone was onboard. Crash happened in Eveleth, Minnesota...just north of Duluth. Eight people onboard...AP is reporting possiblity of deaths

Edit: Paul Wellstone, his wife, and his daughter are now confirmed dead

Probably by the end of the day today. The race was actually pretty close with most polls sitting between 2 and 5% from the last ones I had seen. I didn't like his politics, but, like Garfang said, he really believed in what he said, which I can totally respect.

Likewise. I never agreed with his liberal agenda. However, the death of him and his family is not good news.
