Ironic justice isn't it?

You haven?t been hanging around abortion clinics with a sniper rifle have you? Maybe practicing your bomb making skills?

i'm just asking people not to morn selectively. If you want to be sad -- be sad for innocent babies and not for deceitful politicians.

no ironies.

you keep saying the senator supported the MURDERING of BABIES that just isn't true. he supported ABORTION not killing babies. they are different actions.

at least try and make a legitimate argument supporting ur premise that the abortion of fetuses = murdering babies. either way, that is debatable, the death of the senator and his family and staff however is NOT debatable. so let it rest. he died.

Did he support abortion?

I am pro choice and I am very much against abortion....except in very rare circumstances.

Anyways, I am saddened by what happened. A tragedy for his family. And a minor blow to the middle class.

He was a hardcore supporter of abortion: link

He supported late term abortions -- for those of you who don't know.. that's done by delivering the baby part way and then cutting off its head
while it is in the vagina.

Anyways, I'm not sad that he died. Please excuse me while I morn the death of mother Theresa or someone else worthy of my time.

ok, and late term abortions are bad when they save the lives of women too.

sometimes you have to resort to such measures.

people don't just get late term abortions for fun or trivial reasons.

you want to make it seem like women everywhere are having late term abortions and doctors just do them.

sorry it doesn't work that way, doctors only do them in extreme cases. in other words, your late term abortion bit is purely political.

you are a sick f*ck for trying to twist someones death into pushing your twisted ideology.

get over it.

maybe you should worry more about the millions of children going hungry and dying in america and the world.
oh, yea its too hard to bother with the born.

lazy righteous indignation is your thing i guess.

Hard to speculate on the cause, but 93% humidity is definite icing territory. It will be interesting to read the NTSB report in a couple weeks
That report won't be out for a few months. As for the speculation on conspiracy, it is utter hogwash. Planes crash with a rather dull regularity. Most often, it is pilot error in one form or another.
Wellstone was predictable and compassionate, and inspired cooperation from both sides of the aisle.
There are plenty of lesser politicians on the hill, who carry on in the bickering manner of those few who have polluted this thread for one agenda or another.
An honest and compassionate advocate has passed on with his family in a tragic way, before his time. Let us show some respect, and save the flaming for a new thread tomorrow. The media will put a spin on it, and provide the gasoline for a real flame war.

Anybody want to place bets on how long it will take before the cries of "Republican conspiracy" start?

Shows what happens if you challenge George II on Iraq.

Shows what happens to YOU and YOUR family if you challenge Dubya and his thieves.

Let the investigations begin. Lets see a GOP hand in this crash. I am all for the scandals. G W Bush has caused America more blood, death, economic loses, misery than all presidents pulled together. His time is near.

Hey, 0roo0roo, Explain this?

Why not just apologize to shinerburke now and beat the rush?

wtf?

and your kettle comparison was a bit thin.

The only thin thing here is the toothpick you need to get those pieces of crow from between your teeth.

whats thin is how you can't see the difference between justifying your attack on a dead man by bringing up an attack on an ill man and a person pointing out the attack not for the purpose of justification but to expose.

poor amused one. ussually your pretty logical, but you missed it this time.

I missed it? Good gawd, the thread still exists for all to see and you're already trying to rewrite history?

Let's sum up the conversation, shall we?

Shinerburke said:
------------
"Interesting....if he is dead how long before we hear someone say it was part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?"
------------
PianoMan said:
-------------
"Interesting...if he is dead how long before shinerburke realizes a human being and his family have died and starts to show a little humanity instead of being a prick?"
-------------
You replied:
-------------
"never, shiner has always been a cold hearted jackass. its the republican way.

its the party for bitter people."
--------------

You bashed him on this and called him cold hearted and bitter. He never attacked Wellstone, nor had he called anyone a name.
He simply made a comment on the left wing nutballs that did the very thing he predicted they'd do.

Well, he was right. It didn't take long for a lot of left wing nutballs to start screaming about a conspiracy. Not only here, but on just about every news site message board I took a look at.

If you can't see the logic in my position, may I suggest a new pair a glasses? Your myopia seems to be getting the better of you.

oh really. so severe genetic disorders don't exist? malignant hypertension, preeclampsia, out of control diabetes, renal desease, infections, incest, rape, pregnancy in girls under the age of 15,. late term abortions are a tiny % of the total.

doesn't matter either way. you can't force one being to be a slave to another.

the world is over simplified for some people

If ever anyone wanted proof that God has a sense of humor they now have it definitively. And on the eighth day God said it is not meet that man shall be perfect and therefore he spoke to the dust of the field and said let there be lunacy upon the face of the earth; and OrooOroo was born.

This is a terrible needless tragedy.

Athough the point has been made with more heat than light, it is a legitimate one.

That point, the relationship between a power broker that facilitated the deaths of innocent babies, and his own hideous and awful death.

Is there a relationship?

Tragically the answer is....... yes.

I'll agree with Red on this one. You're an idiot. There is no connection between his political views and the deaths of Sen. Wellstone, his wife and daughter, and five others. It was a tragedy whose cause will be determined by the NTSB if at all.

For those that would like to know more about his political views or more appropiately, study the people that are still in the running for races in your state, check this site.

issues2000.org Wellstone
issues2000 Home

If you want to do something worthwhile study the candiates and their views and get out and vote for the people to represent you.

Here are a few quotes from a Democratic Forum......is my question about when the conspiracy talk would start still illegitimate?

"I agree with Bob Ferrell, another Democratic liberal with a lead in the polls and their plane crashes. Seems a little strange that two men, in such a short time, died in plane crashes when they were leading their Repuglican opponent. Do all Democratic Senators have to fear for their lives if they are the people's favorite?"

and anotther

"What are the odds of two Senators (actually, Carnahan was a sitting Governor) dying days before an election, just two years apart, under the exact same circumstances, when total control of the Government hangs in the balance?
The chances of this being a coincidence are pretty damn small. I am not ready to label this an assassination, but can we at least agree that there had better be a DAMN good investigation as to the circumstances of this crash?

Oh, by the way, Ted Kennedy was supposed to be on that plane. Another coincidence? "

and another

"I agree with the poster that suggested this is more than coincidental. "

another

"Paul Wellstone was killed today in a plane crash.
Mel Carnahan was killed two years ago in a plane crash.

John Kennedy, Jr. was killed three years ago in a plane crash.

Eric Rudolph is still at large
and the anthrax terrorist hasn't been arrested. "

These posting are from a small Democratic forum based here in Oklahoma. I'm sure there are hudreds around like it wil similar stupidity posted. I didn't even read all the posts on that site because it was such utter crap.

Now attack me again for posing a legitimate question about when the conspiracy nutjobs would start up.

This is a terrible needless tragedy.

The NTSB will determine why the plane went down.

The root cause of this tragedy is a spiritual one.

It is Written .."As you sow so shall you reap."

Tragically, Mr. Wellstone made the wrong choices in life. His position of authority requires a greater responsibility for the truth.

He and ones dear to him....... paid an awful price.

What attack? I posted a question, not an attack. As usual I was then attacked for simply asking a question. Happens all the time with Democrats, you post some facts they don't like or ask them a question they think is unfair and they pounce on you like a hungry lion on a gazelle. Party of tolerance my ass....

I don't really think God has the time to get involved in American politics. If he did Ted Kennedy would have gone down a long time ago.
