umm personally i think you interpretation sucks. i read it twice, you don't explain anything that isn't blatently obivous

You appear to be lacking in intelligence. If the interpretation sucks (and maybe it does), than you disagree with it. But then you say that what I said was blatantly obvious - meaning what i said was true. That makes no sense. I would advise suicide as a possible solution to your problem.

grrrrrr... ok well i was reading down the post more, and this REALLY pisses me off, AI WAS NOT REALLY A KUBRICK MOVIE. Kubrick had a few ideas and a few story boards, speilberg did EVERYTHING else. It was a decent movie, but at best it just gave omage to kubrick with some of the shots. anyways, POTA,. as mentioned before, remember the 2 moons? Well then, and if they were introduced before, i think mentioned as well, why would they restruct earth like it is to us. You're not interpreting, just stating facts. Please don't even talk about my intelligence when it comes to movies.

You seem confused regarding what i said about POTA. Most of the things u mention are addressed in the other thread. And AI had a Kubrick plot - he based it on the book &quot;Super Toys Last All Summer Long.&quot; Spielburg gave his interpretation of Kubrick's script, so while he certainly changed it a lot and gave it a &quot;Spielburgian&quot; look and feel, it is still Kubrick's plot.

It exists. Check some other movie forums for more info. Kubrick wrote some version of it many years ago but most of his fans (who knew he had written something based on the aforementioned book) figured it would never be relased as he was getting old and implementing it convincingly would be difficult. Im lazy and dont feel like finding the info for you, so if you dont take my word for it search around a bit.

it's not a script, it was just a draft/short story, and as i mentioned before, with storyboards. He talked about it a lot, and with speilberg.

You are correct - it is not a &quot;script&quot; - more of a storyboard as u say. But my point is unchanged - our good friend Stanley was responsible for the direction of the major plot developments. Spielburg filled in all the details.
