Like I said, the core of deplorables remains, Fox News included, but not only is the party as whole shrinking but it’s losing its intellectuals. Without them you just have a bunch of people screaming running around bumping into things. Trump is the bubble bursting and what’s left are a bunch of crazy people covered in puss. That will attract no one.
Mark my words and you can Lindsey graham them, trump will lose in a landslide not seen since Reagan and the Republican Party will continue to shrink until slowly fading away while a new Conservative party emerges. If I had to guess (this part don’t hold me to), I would guess the new party would consist of Lincoln project conservatives and moderate democrats. They’ll be more pro capitalism than the left, for small government (but not as extreme as republicans or liberals), and more like bush sr on foreign policy (pro patriot act, pro cia foreign intervention).
Unfortunately we have too many binary minds. That group of middling republicans will get absorbed into one or the other again. We can't wrap our simple minds around three parties.
who knows, maybe there will be a reformation and a QAnon Republican wing. Basically where all the Trumpers go and they go back to what they've always done....complain & not vote
Maybe as above some conservative Democrats will join a newly formed Conservative party
Maybe 2024 they field a like able & competent candidate who get elected
who knows and it’s their job to figure it out.
We heard very similar speculation in 2016 and look what happened.
Nearly 5 million have already voted...up 50 times as many as in 2016.
Didn't hear that, I assume it's all of them that are participating this early so far.Because of covid it’s hard to tell what this indicates though. Which states or counties are these coming in from?
Austin is pretty liberal...definitely not the same as other parts of Texas.
And remember folks these are his odds on Election Day. If the election were held today his odds on the single digits. The probability models build in Trump narrowing as the election gets closer. The exact opposite is happening.538 is now giving Biden 84/16 odds.

The polls don't take that into account and there's no reasonable way they could. The main issue I have is how these polls take into account voter suppression such as few drop boxes in democratic leaning areas, etc...
And again watch TX-3 on election night. If that congressional race is close, Trump could lose Texas.
Not counting on that happening, but can you imagine if Trump loses Texas? There would be panic in the Republican ranks. It'd negate some of the swing state fights and basically guarantee a Biden win. And Trump would be apoplectic... he's counting on a close outcome so that he can dispute it, but a Texas loss would likely point to a blowout he can't really fight.
Texas is not flipping blue until there are more polling places and less voter suppression tactics allowed like one ballot box per county.
Wow, early voting here in FL opens on the 19th, (my birthday, yay!) and I'm taking a personal day to be there.Nearly 5 million have already voted...up 50 times as many as in 2016.
I find the ballot box thing odd. Don't mail in ballots come with prepaid postage?
The left leaning fox poll has Biden up. Effing fake news commies.
Fox News Poll: Biden gains ground over Trump
Democratic candidate Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump by a 53-43 percent margin, in a Fox News national survey of likely voters conducted after a combative debate and the president testing positive for coronavirus. Biden’s 10-point advantage is up from a 5-point lead last month.www.foxnews.com
