hey this is hot, i was just about to go to OD to buy this router with my $20 off $100 coupon becuase i needed a router, didn't know there were two rebates too. so either way, i get it for $60, or i get back $30, :Q:QQ:QQ:Q

my store didn't have one saying free, if yours did, do us and yourself a favor, go back, photocopy the tag (using their copier!) and hook us up... please

got one. thanks. left side bottom corner of my box says model no. "BEFSR41 V.2". what does the "V.2" mean. can somebody tell if yours also reads the same.

another thing, my office depot $10 rebate form reads : "... may not be used in conjunction with any other offer from the manufacturer." looks like only the $100 rebate will go through.

the upc code on my receipt as well as rebate forms say "074588354934", where as the product box upc is "745883549344". basically a "0" is added in the front and the last "4" is left out. is this a problem?

K, I just got back from OD, heres the skinny,
The price on the shelf is 99.99
The flyer/circular says 99.99 -10 od mir, -10 man mir, = 79.99

I took my 20 off 100 coupon,
had to add a roll of tape to get over, (they use before tax price not after)
so after 1.59 tape
subtotal 101.58
tax 8.38 ca
total 109.96
coupon 20.00-
tax 6.73
total 88.31
I saw the add stated two $10 mir's, I didn't want to ask becuase I know they will argue whenever they can.
Just bought it. After it rang up, my two mir rebate forms printed out,
1 for $100 to linksys - says $100 in two places, and 1 $10 rebate for OD.

I love OD again.... as long as they pay.....

If you are willing try this, I would suggest NOT mentioning the rebates to the cashier, if it doesnt print for you, just return it the next day.
At the store I went to, there were 3 left, after my 1.
The cashier didn't notice the amount of the rebate either...
If they knew they would probably buy them all themselves....

I got mine in the mail about a two weeks ago.
The coupon said it is good till the 18th of Jan.
I am sure somebody has one scanned, try searching for printable.

Well tell you what. I will go and check it out tomorrow and see what the scoop is. If I get a rebate printed (crosses fingers) I will call LinkSys and verify it if LinkSys tells me to pound sand then I will take the damn thing back and get my money back. If LinkSys says yea we'll eat it I'll post all receipts, etc. on my web site.

But I do agree that this is an incredibly long, long shot. Especially since the OD web site makes no mention of such rebate and neither does LinkSys.

EDIT: I have the LinkSys sales number in my cell phone so I will call them if I have the $100 rebate form in my hand and ask them if they will honor or if it's just false advertising. That might stir them up a little.

tmc...V.2 just means that it is version 2 of the router. It's the latest revision of the BEFSR41.

This thing has got to be good to go. I just saw an OD PREPRINTED pricetag that had FREE written in big black letters. It was their typical looking tag where they advertise any product that is rebated with the price and free in a yellow box. I couldn't snatch it because there were people around though, dammit. I got four of them--that's all the two stores around me had left in stock. This is a winner--I just wish I'd gotten the damn tag.

ALso, both rebates will be valid. This happened before and the person told me to send the original to Visioner and the copy to OD (they are aware of the situation). I got both rebates no problem. If OD is printin out two rebates, you're entitled to two rebates.

Oh, another cool thing was that the guy in the first store copied the coupon and gave the original back to me and said I could use it at the next store where I was going--which I promptly did. So, four routers for $400.00 (incl. tax) - $440.00 in rebates. I'll make $40 plus the Ebay amounts (already have a free+ Netgear RT314 from a CrapUSA deal of several months ago)--SCHWEET!!

paid $105 something with tax and the rebate total $110

Read my post a few up. Also, include a note explaining why the copy. I've done it in the past successfully (based on instructions by the OD manager).

I printed the two $10 rebate forms. BOTH require the ORIGINAL UPC code. The OD form to be sent to Walled Lake (MI) also stipulates that it 'may not be used in conjunction with any other offer from the manufacturer'. Looks like a $99 - $20 - $10 = $69 deal from here.
