Plasma Hot - Office Depot - Etherfast Cable router free after MIR

Just went into Office Depot to look around and found the Etherfast Cable/DSL Router
Model # BEFSR41 for $99. There was a little paper sign taped to the price saying you
get $110 back in MIR. I bought one and a rebate from Linksys for $100 printed out and
another rebate from Office Depot for $10 printed out. Covers tax. Great Deal. Rebates
say valid 01-06-02 - 01-12-02.

Sorry, forgot to say the Linksys rebate says valid online too (www.officedepot.com). The other
rebate doesn't say that.

Umm, on the OD page it says $10 MFG Mail in and $10 OD mail in.

Either you got very lucky or your only getting $20 back. :/

I could only find the $10 rebate online. Didn't see a $100 form. Is it an office depot rebate or a linksys rebate. Also, could you please scan a copy of your form if you still have it. Thanks

It is free. I bought it at Office Depot B&M. The rebate receipts are for $100 (Thats 100) from
Linksys and $10 from Office Depot. I don't have a scanner or I'd scan it and post it. The
rebate for Linksys says it is valid when purchased online as well as at B&M.

Wow, I am so completely tempted by this. I do have a cable modem, and plan on building a new PC in 6 months. I wonder if it is a typo of some kind....I searched linksys, OD, Staples, rebateplace.com, etc... no mention of a $100 rebate anywhere. Let's hope for the best !

It is definitely an error on the rebate slip. You can view the weekly ad at office depot's website and under Networking Products the Linksys Router is there for $79 after $20 in rebates. Good luck in getting these fulfilled, it sucks that it will be weeks before you know if you get screwed or not.

Called and talked to a friend that works the local OD to yell at him about not telling me about this and he said he saw that listed, but was probably a typo. On the link provided by Wildfire above, there is a linksys rebate of 10 and an OD rebate of 10. Would have loved to jump on this a couple of times if it was 100. Ah well, maybe some of you lucky b@stards can get this to work.

well, i think it's a misprint. It don't matter what the rebate says, if Linksys won't pay up then it's useless. Just don't start b!tching when your rebate shows up as $10.

I really wish that was a misprint or sth., so I could have a chance to get one. I just ran to local OD, and the price tag says:

As adv. 99 - 110 = FREE

The big black women working there gave me a big grin: We don't have any of this!
