The messed up thing about shooting someone in your own home is that you have to clean up the mess. It messes with your mind. And they might have AIDS.

Maybe not a good shoot? I'm admittedly not up on all your American laws as I've only been here a few years. If a thug produces gun, gets shoes at gun point and is running away and shot by a legal conceal carrier (not saying this happened) would it be a good shoot?

You can only shoot if they were a threat. If they are running down the middle of the street to get away from you, you can't continue to shoot.

If they are running for cover to take a defensive position to return fire, shoot away. But you better be able to prove that.

The thing about courts here is that they don't care if you're innocent or not. They just want a conviction and they'll take what they can get.
