Playing more it's getting a bit repetitive. Still engaging though so far. One annoying thing about inventory, it doesn't show you the current count and if you open a container that puts you over 150, it doesn't let you get rid of items in your inventory to make room.

Been a while since I played, but can't you put items into containers? Pretty sure I used to dump garbage items I didn't want into loot boxes, and take the good stuff away.

You might be able to but there's no reason to.

My point was, when you open a container and have too much, you have to destroy those items, you can't pick which ones to destroy.

The original Mass Effect was awesome. I beat the whole thing. I never played ME2, 3 and Andromeda, but that's because they pump them out way too fast. Every individual game in the series loses it's value "to me" when they pump them out like that. This trend is similar to Assasin's Creed. Every damn year there's a new Assasin's Creed... Maybe when I'm 60, I would have played all of them. People try to have a life too you know! Programmer's gotta eat, I get it, but we gotta do something other than games sometimes!

Mass Effect came out in 2007, ME2 came out in 2010, ME3 came out in 2012, and MEA didn't come out until 2017. That seems like a pretty reasonable release cadence to me, not at all like how a new Assassin's Creed game comes out every year. So it seems like you're exaggerating how they "pump out" the games.

If you liked first Mass Effect, consider giving ME2 a try - I found it to be better written, set up, and executed than the first one from premise to stories (ignoring the very, very end).

Beyond it, it turned to junk as original Bioware was no more, the people who lead it left post EA purchase, writers and creative directors left, and quality went down only to milk for more $$ out of formerly good name. MEA was even worse as they given it to completely new group of people (who happened to be racist, elitist, ignorant SJW as#holes and never done a game below).

As person who loved ME , I wish I never heard of Andromeda..

Wait, "SJW" doesn't fit the other words. For example, SJW are against racism.

I loved the first two games but the ending of the third was spoiled for me at launch and it pissed me off the way it ended.

For a game that told you choice matters to end like that was dumb. The devs tried to retcon it with the alternate ending but too late for me.

Luckilly I haven't played ME2 or 3 yet, so I'll get the better ending.

ME is starting to get repetitive, though. Many missions almost the same.

Most of the same people who worked on ME2 worked on ME3. Casey Hudson was project director on all three games (and Knights of the Old Republic before that), Mac Walters was head writer on ME2 and ME3 and a writer on ME1 (ME1's head writer Drew Karpyshyn was moved internally to lead the writing on Star Wars The Old Republic), Preston Watamaniuk was lead designer on all three games. So the idea that the people who lead ME2 all left after BioWare's purchase by EA is pretty much bunk.

As for MEA...it was a hot mess, I'll admit. And sure, a lot of people from the original trilogy had moved on. But I really don't think you know what you're talking about when you say it was a "completely new group of people" who had "never done a game before". The aforementioned Mac Walters was director, while producer Michael Gamble, writer John Dombrow, and designer Manveer Heir had worked on previous Mass Effect games. You would do well to not blindly believe armchair "reporting" from YouTube and Reddit.

I did not dislike ME3 and thought it was quite decent until the last hour where they seem to ignore everything that happened leading up to the climax.

I feel like considering how large these games are, and how many hours are needed if you actually want to explore the whole game, do all side quests, and try out more than one class, every 2-3 years is a little too often. Again, this is my PERSONAL opinion.

Unlike pregnancy, adding people can speed the development of games, to a certain extent. I can't think of many games 2-3 years isn't enough for.

Assassin's Creed actually DID just skip a year for this reason.

The Mass Effect games aren't that long, dude. Like, 30 hours, 40 hours at most. To complete everything. If you just spent 1 hour a week playing them, you'd easily finish a game in less than a year. Do you play games like a sloth from Zootopia?

I'm playing the trilogy again after several years. I was looking forward to MEA, but seems not to live up to the first three. I'll wait until patched and cheap.ME1 was best (except for clunky squad management) ME2 was very good (squad management vastly improved) ME3 was good. I liked being able to import my character from ME1 to ME2 and 2 to 3. . As for inventory, keep only 50% or less of items. Also, omnigel is quite useful.Convert unneeded items to omnigel or sell them. Buy Medigel, Licenses, Grenades. Try to save $ as much as possible.

Did a fully texture modded playthrough of 1-3; 1 definitely shows its age but the texture mods help quite a bit. Doesn't really matter though as the content for 1 carry it. Garrus and Wrex make the series. Also, unlike a lot of people, I didn't really like 2, but I did like 3. The ending is tolerable now, and I didn't really care when it first came out either after they threw out the whole dark matter story line.

But seriously. Garrus.

Best bromance ever.

Well, i have almost 6 hours in a row now of playing (Have been doing house choirs and having diner in between) and am at the Normandy as commander now.
I cheated with getting the keepers, I made a printscreen of a map on the mass effect walkthrough wiki.
Mass effect really has no trouble at all with ALT+TAB all the time.

We are just started driving around in that 6 wheel tank on argos.
Mass Effect really is a nice game. There is so much side plots that it is not easy to see through but i like it like that.
But there are lot of hints here and there.
I regret i have to work tomorrow again. I am captured by the game.
Finally that feeling again as if i am in an alternative reality in the future.
