Playing more it's getting a bit repetitive. Still engaging though so far. One annoying thing about inventory, it doesn't show you the current count and if you open a container that puts you over 150, it doesn't let you get rid of items in your inventory to make room.
Been a while since I played, but can't you put items into containers? Pretty sure I used to dump garbage items I didn't want into loot boxes, and take the good stuff away.
The original Mass Effect was awesome. I beat the whole thing. I never played ME2, 3 and Andromeda, but that's because they pump them out way too fast. Every individual game in the series loses it's value "to me" when they pump them out like that. This trend is similar to Assasin's Creed. Every damn year there's a new Assasin's Creed... Maybe when I'm 60, I would have played all of them. People try to have a life too you know! Programmer's gotta eat, I get it, but we gotta do something other than games sometimes!
Most of the same people who worked on ME2 worked on ME3. Casey Hudson was project director on all three games (and Knights of the Old Republic before that), Mac Walters was head writer on ME2 and ME3 and a writer on ME1 (ME1's head writer Drew Karpyshyn was moved internally to lead the writing on Star Wars The Old Republic), Preston Watamaniuk was lead designer on all three games. So the idea that the people who lead ME2 all left after BioWare's purchase by EA is pretty much bunk.If you liked first Mass Effect, consider giving ME2 a try - I found it to be better written, set up, and executed than the first one from premise to stories (ignoring the very, very end).
Beyond it, it turned to junk as original Bioware was no more, the people who lead it left post EA purchase, writers and creative directors left, and quality went down only to milk for more $$ out of formerly good name. MEA was even worse as they given it to completely new group of people (who happened to be racist, elitist, ignorant SJW as#holes and never done a game below).
As person who loved ME , I wish I never heard of Andromeda..
Mass Effect came out in 2007, ME2 came out in 2010, ME3 came out in 2012, and MEA didn't come out until 2017. That seems like a pretty reasonable release cadence to me, not at all like how a new Assassin's Creed game comes out every year. So it seems like you're exaggerating how they "pump out" the games.
I feel like considering how large these games are, and how many hours are needed if you actually want to explore the whole game, do all side quests, and try out more than one class, every 2-3 years is a little too often. Again, this is my PERSONAL opinion.
