If your card has already been charged, beware the delay game. If this site is fraudulent, what they will do is give you some excuse as to backorder or Sony delays, etc., and keep stringing you along past the date when you can get the charges reversed. Check you credit card policy on how long you have to dispute fraudulent charges and watch out for the delay game. It's really not a very fun game, not for you anyway.

So i swung by there today, it was raining pretty bad, but unit E-1 was 'Freedom Something' i think (didn't say BGI/Bulk Gadgets from what I saw), E-17 was BVI/Eagle Recognition.

Maybe just mislabeled, but i dunno, was a pretty small place. Most of the units were small. I have a crappy pic, but i cant find my dang reader. I'll keep looking for it.

BGI just canceled my order because someone here linked them to this thread in an email. I didn't X-out all of my financials so it was exposed and they canceled my order.

That doesn't make sense... it's a thread devoted to buying a PS3 from their site. We all have our doubts upon the validity of the site but who wouldn't? Given that bit of info I'd say they're way too uptight about being called frauds to be considered safe.

Sounds like a great way for a company to do business.

Of course a real neo con would twist it around and post 'oh you saw the American flag and laughed, huh you terrorist why do you hate America'.

Huh, what the heck does that have to do with a questionable PS3? When did I ever come up with some sort of ficticious cockamany-name bashing-conspiracy-nonscence about you? When did I ever say that America was a terrorist state? When did I ever announce any sort of political association, no less in the hot deals section? Kamazon the Mental Institute called, they said it's time for your meds and a nap. Now go crawl back in to your cage.

EDIT:
PS
If you want this to be politcal, then I will give you one observation I have made from a registerd "no party affiliated" middle of the road point of view: When a Democrat disagrees with the opposing parties issue he/she typicaly attacks the Person, but When a Republican disagrees with an opposing party he attacks the Issue and not the Person (or Personality). You typify a Democrat that can never renforce an arguement with facts but with pure emotional thinking that is not based on logic; And that is dangerous.
(- I Voted for Dole, Kerry, and Gore then Jeb Bush/Charlie Christ for FL State Governor and Democrat Bill Nelson as My Senator)

You might, but I don't vote for the party line, just the lesser of two evils who will work to stamp out pork spending and corruption and those who will protect our freedoms, sovernty, borders, and national security

Your views inthis thread: were certainly NOT middle of the road. You are definitely a very very conservative, hardcore Republican.

Sorry to hear that about your order getting cancelled.

If I had posted my invoice number like requested I am sure I would have had my order cancelled too so I am very glad I decided against it.

No, one here has proven anything one way or the other yet as to the legitimacy of BulkGadgets. I wish it wasnt dubious but I ordered before anyone made any negative comments concerning legitimacy. That is going to be either a good thing or a bad thing. However it goes I will update this thread with the information I get.

I am surprised no one else said they got a confirmed order yet in this thread.

Bulk Gadgets is not a retailer per se. The business has been around in one form or another for a number of years. Doing everything from promoting new products to collecting buyer profiles for large retailers. This recent venture, actually selling them, appears to be a new direction - probably more profitable, but not from the sales... Their take comes from the information about the buyers' behavior. I haven't purchased from them this time - so I can't say what's up - but I did buy an iPod about a year and a half ago from their company - which is called also BGI. Everything was fine.

They are registered as a business under personal and profesional services in Delaware, but have a warehouse (or temporary leased space) at a location (office park of some sort) in Florida. With their customer service in New York - I think. They have 24/7 live receptionist, have excellent ratings on Verizon SuperPages, and no record of complaints with the BBB. My only concern with them at this point is that their primary business is in information, not retail, so they are a bit slow to respond to customer inqueries, but likely speedy to respond when Sony execs call!

In any case, I just noticed this thread and thought I, as a past reasonably satisfied customer of Bulk Gadgets would add my 2 cents!

Buh Bye!
