man oh man, spent over an hour driving around to find this bad puppy. the first two radio shack ran out of these. one of them told me an employee bought them out. finally on the third radio shack, after losing all hope, the manager found it for me. Only two was left, so i bagged them.
its pretty COOL!! for a low price also ! =)
all the buttons seem to be working so far. didn't test teh analog's yet because i dont know which games requires or uses it.

this works great if u plan to play metal gear solid 2: substance for PC. <wink.

Just a heads up. I bought one of these earlier when it was $10, but the left analog joystick axes were reversed (X=>Y, Y=>X). Could have been my gamepad, but I doubt it. I returned it.

anyone else get that?

maybe u can try to calibrated. in winXP, go to "game controllers" under control panel.

Anyone got the forcefeedback/rumble feature to work? i used a Sony ps2 dual shock 2 controller in a PS emulator ePSXe, all the buttons worked, but not the force feedback feature. does it support force feedback at all?

Just scored 2 in San Francisco. Sweet deal.

For the information of others out there, this is a radio shack part -- comes in a radio shack package. It looks SOOOO much better made than all that clear plastic trash floating out there (and on ebay).

I got one off of ebay a while back. Works great with my Sega Emu. I have only used the one contoller slot, but mine did have a spot for a second controller. The analog works in mine, but with limited games. When I start Delta Force BHD, the contoller starts vibrating and doesn't stop, but I thinks that's a bug with the game itself. If anyone wants to find adapters for game contollers to USB, I suggest eBay. Oh yeah, if anyone finds an adapter for a NES or SNES controller to USB please PM me. All I have found are plans to make it attach to a parallel port, and I don't think that works in XP (parallel game controllers).

You need to get a copy of NTPad XP. Search for NTPad on Google and you can find it. It allows you to use the parallel port for game controllers, and it works great. Tons of options, highly configurable. And, it's free. Excellent little program. I believe the newest version is 2.01.

These things are great.. I just got one and the $4.99 PS2 controller at BestBuy and it worked no problems on Windows XP. So for $10 you get a dual analog controller with 12 buttons!

I can't believe how much better playing with a PS2 pad is than any of those cheap PC pads out there. Get real people! Why is it so hard for you to make a decent PC pad? Sheesh... Now if only they had an adapter to hook a Genesis pad up... MMM... Those Genny 6 buttons WERE THE BEST PADS EVER!

I bought a PS2 --> USB adapter from merkotech (or something like that) awhile back...the controller works great in winXP. I use it predominantly to play madden and GTA3...now the experience is just like PS2 sans the poor TV image quality.

I bought one of these when they were $10, and even then it was a good deal. I don't have 2 to hook up, but I can use both this and a gameport gamepad @ the same time (great for emulators!). And yes, it works flawlessly with XP.
