All in an Antec Solo case that I've had sitting around for a month. I have all the other stuff, optical drives, wireless cards, OS.

So I won't compromise on the CPU, PSU and HD, I've picked but everything else is pretty much up for debate. I also need a mouse recommendation, preferably wireless.

My only concerns are the memory, whether 430watt Seasonic S12 will be enough or should i get the 500watt, and whether the 8800gts and Ninja will fit in an Antec Solo case. I would also like some sound card recommendations, are any of the x-fi cards worth it, or will an older audigy card do the trick, they have eax dont they? A big turn off for the x-fi is no linux support yet (or ever if creative keeps on delaying release). I want to be able to use regular hi-fi speakers as well. I will probably overclock, unless it means way to much noise. I plan on getting a LCD from a B&M store, and recommendations?

Thanks.

The $169 G.skill kit uses Micron D9s. Both kits seem to overclock very well based on reviews though. I'm glad some people actually read reviews of ram instead of just blindly going with a brand name.

There's not that much difference.

And get a 7200.10 Seagate too.
Thanks but i feel there is enough of a difference to go for the E6600, and I've been holding out for 5 months so I want it bad. The 7200.10 is noisey and the one I've picked is apparently queiter and $10 cheaper.

If you plan on overclocking definately up the PS.
Can anyone confirm this? I was thinking that a Seasonic's were pretty good and a 430watt would be fine?

I think I'll go with the D9's $20 is not really that much more in the grand scheme of things.

Is there a soundcard out there that supports EAX not made by Creative, and is good for gaming? I'd rather just buy one now than hold out and see if creative releases drivers in Q3.

Thanks for all the replies.

Unfortunately Creative has only released EAX 1.0 and 2.0 publicly. If you want support for EAX 3.0 though the current 5.0, you're going to have to go with an X-Fi. But IMHO the X-Fi series (at least the lower end ones) are not worth the money. For nearly the same price as the X-Fi XtremeGamer you can get the Sondigo Inferno card which is based on the C-Media Oxygen HD audio processor. Google the Inferno and decide for yourself.

Seasonic is very good, and 430 watts is plenty, ignore anyone that says otherwise.
