Please Confirm MD5 for VSE 2012 Desktop

Microsoft released VS 2012 Express for Desktops today (the previous Express 2012 was only for Windows 8). I downloaded the ISO from here, but I couldn't find any checksums, so I'd like to compare mine with yours.

I only have an MD5 checker installed. Also, I'm not sure there is any reason to do this since you are downloading it directly from MS - but its better to be safe then sorry I guess! I've only worried about checking MD5's when downloading from 3rd party sources.

Thanks for the confirmation. I'm not worried about malware; I just wanted to verify that the image was downloaded without errors.

BTW, I can recommend HashMyFiles, freeware available on all the download sites like CNET, as an excellent SHA1 (and MD5) calculator. Couldn't be easier to use, you just right-click on the file(s) you want the checksums for.

i was also looking for the sha1. im not checking the sha1 because i think the iso on the ms servers was altered. ive had problems installing programs in the past due to download errors. so now i always try to check the checksum of large downloads before i waste time installing and then troubleshooting the install problems.
