That is why I stay in this forum - most of the time it is the friendliest, most polite and most accepting forum in the known universe.

 What other forums in the known universe have you been visiting Peter? Are you holding out on us?

I look around - lurking you know, spying, - and it almost never takes more than 10 minutes to find a flame war, some cursing or fighting ...
It was quite some time ago we had that in our forum...

Please do not take this as an initaitive to start one - OK?

I was more hoping for info on some Martian forums... But alas, I guess you aren't holding out on us in that way.

But should there be any Martian posters / lurkers / would-be-neffers, feel free to drop by for a  or some limoncello if I have a batch cooked up.

Well there is a forum for crunchers @ Vega 3. But the communications takes ages - and my FTL-transible has boken down. That is also why I am not putting all my resources to seti@home (which I did for some time until a year ago), because I have become a member of the Vega 3 chapter of TeAm AnandTech: ChetdNana Meat. They are crunching on a procedure for FTL transmission of messages, but their problem is how to get the reciever to the other planet.

ChetdNana Meat. NIce. ROFL

I was talking to Liz in the car when she picked me up from work. "So, I have 8 days off from work next week. I better spend some of it intoxicated" to which she replies "okay". hehehehe. One has to make moving entertaining somehow. Besides, it's been a while since we relaxed and had a few beers.

Oh wait, we have a bottle of wine saved for the move, don't we. And we still have a bottle of wine from Italy...

... but it will take some determined effort to pass you, FMC!
Well, according to the quick and dirty calculations it should take me some 175 years ...

I will of course. The only reason she isn't on here right now is because she has to work in the morning. She, unfortunately, can't nef @ work.

LOL... Given your performance in taking the 2k title, I'll watch my back like I'm worried about getting ran over like a freight train.

Like the tortoise, it's the slow moving ones you need to watch out for.

I've got nothing to do but nef. And pack. My eight days off of work just started. I tried to buy some  at the store, but I couldn't--didn't realize it's Sunday. So I'll have to wait until noon if I want to do that.

I hate Sundays. Everything is closed on Sundays, and I can never get the stuff done that I want to do.

Here's something for a good laugh. While I was in Oregon on vacation, we went up to the mountains, and I got to play in this half-snow half-ice stuff. Now it's not like I haven't seen snow before, but living in Texas for the past whatever years, the white stuff is a bit of a rarity, especially in large quantities.

So anyway, here I was in Oregon, with a huge pile of snow-ice stuff. So I had the bright idea of ramming my head into it, and getting my entire head surrounded by snow. Unbeknownst to me, my friends were recording it. Here is the recording.

Don't they realize some people work odd hours?
