Having a PSU fail that many times in such a short time span is exceedingly difficult if they were legit products, and not refurbs or grey market, or pulls..
If the power coming into the PSU is crap, that would be the #1 cause, I sure hope you are using a UPS system.

If these were all corsair PSUs, why would you keep purchasing the same PSU over and over and over and over again? I think your seller is trying to pull a fast one on you.
Give us some pics of the PSU in question.

I have an inverter and a stabilizer connected to my mains which itself provides very good protection. and then my PC also has UPS. So the power is pretty clean, nothing else has failed. Puny 100w PSU which powers my E350n has not failed since ages.
Am not sure what how you define short span, 4 PSUs over 3 years. I have provided the serial no and bill to Corsair. Okay you might claim one product "might" be fake which I do not think is true but the rest of the 3 power supplies directly came from Corsair HongKong, so how can they not be "legit" products?
I did not keep buying the same PSU, i bought the PSU once and had to keep RMAing it because of repetitive failures over the years. Am sorry I cannot think of anything else other than the quality of the products.

You are attacking Corsair but refusing to name the seller who most likely lied to you about being authorized.

You claim this is because "I cannot give the seller's name openly when I do not think they are at fault." but if you listed their name we might be able to verify that they are authorized.

As long as you keep the name hidden we have no reason to trust you that Corsair is at fault.

So, I am going to continue to believe you bought a grey market product even if it was not intentional.

I allowed Corsair almost 5 weeks time to reply, I have to give the seller sometime to reply in written. I have to go the legal route since am certain this is going nowhere.
If he is at fault am not going to spare him but if the biggest seller in the country is at fault, thousands of smaller sellers should stop selling Corsair products for this matter. You are trying to tell me Corsair has no idea of this going on? You think they got a good share of the market in India through some 15-20 sellers mentioned on their site?
This is not America that has Microcenter, NewEgg, Amazon, BestBuy limited retail chains. We have thousands of small and functional sellers that sell products. If the authorised distributors sold the products only in their shops, Corsair would have not sold even 10% of what they are currently selling. There are many people in the smaller areas that travel to the nearest shops to get their hardware, if you think they are going to travel hundreds of miles to get a "Corsair" product you are gravely mistaken. I am obviously going to lodge a complaint against Corsair no matter what because am certain they are aware and still permit such things to happen to get sales and then just claim oh the seller was unauthorised. This is like a big scale fraud scheme going on then if all these sellers are getting hold of Corsair products through official Corsair channels.

A subsidiary of Amazon, Amazon India and Cloudtail India which is owned by Amazon India is selling this product for example. They claim the product has 2 years limited warranty.
How are they claiming that? I do not see Cloudtail India as an authorised seller on Corsair's site. There are multiple popular websites selling Corsair products. None of them are Authorised sellers.
So all of them are giving fake products or grey market imports and Corsair is absolutely not aware that Amazon India has sold thousands of Corsair products? Whom are you kidding?
Rules should be equal for everybody, I don't see Corsair reprimanding their distributors for giving products to Amazon or Flipkart or other popular sites.
So all those millions of Corsair products sold in reality have no warranty? If its true then this is one of the biggest scams in India.

You can feel all good about attacking me, but attack me with a proper logic. If there are rules, they should be equal to all. I am not the equal here, am an average person just like most people. I do not have hidden motives to attack Corsair, the only thing is my time is being wasted for all this unnecessary totally avoidable BS than I am being forcefully dragged into.
If anything I might be victim of a scam aided by Corsair for their crony benefit. Like seriously how are you choosing to ignore that the product has been already replaced 4 times at my expense. Where was Corsair that time? I could have immediately taken action against the seller, but how could they? They are a part of the scam, if someone asks for a refund or pay for the shipping immediately point out the rules, otherwise its pretty convenient. This is just BS manipulation of words. And If I was purchasing grey market imports which is illegal, I would be boasting and complaining about it openly on the forums, for what? to get jailed? no thank you, this is no grey import, this is non sense.
Enjoy attacking me, you ll get nothing out of it.

look dude, we've all had positive experiences with Corsair; your post of "they are the worst" doesn't ring true. So let's start from the beginning.
We'll look to have the local rep try to sort it out, in the meanwhile, please give us the information we asked you.
If this reseller is not legit, Corsair would be interested in knowing about a shop with fake "authorized by" certificates on their wall.

Also, there is no reason to protect the reseller. If they have done nothing wrong, they have nothing to fear.

Based on your reference to 'step motherly treatment', makes me 1) curious how step mothers are treated in india and 2) assume that you do not have kids, and that perhaps you should start treating your step mother better.

Please name the seller, so people can either confirm it is reputable, or that the seller is not 'authorized' as you say. There are a lot of people from/in India on this forum who can offer feedback on this.

Then why do you continue to hide the name of the seller?

You joined this forum just to attack Corsair. You've held back the information that we need to know whether or not your complaint is valid. You give us little reason to believe you. That is not an attack, I am just telling you (again) what you can do to make your claim more believable.

That is more than 1 PSU failure a year.
OK, so it is becoming a bit clearer, you bought 1 Corsair PSU, then it had issues, and the rest were all RMAs, which they seem to have taken care of you, so, what changed since then? I assume the warranty is over (you don't even say which Corsair PSU you got, or show us any pics)?
Back to back to back RMA failures aren't that common, but, they do happen on occasion (hello MSI & Seagate!), so, we still are waiting for more details on just how the PSU failed (Pics would be nice as well!)?

I don't have to deal with this problem. I'm American. Then again, I get price gouged for the same meds you can get for peanuts in India. But I sleep better knowing I stand to get better support from Corsair if one of their products ever encounters issues.

Speak for yourself. I had a major hassle dealing with Corsair to get a return for memory UPS damaged in shipping. They sucked, among the worst CS experiences I've ever had and they have lots of dings all over the internet. Lots of complaints for lots of reasons in lots of venues, their ResellerRatings is the pits and their BBB record is even worse.

So while the OP has not done anything to make his case that Corsair is the problem here, they don't get a free pass based on a history of shiny happy customers.

Gag, i'm sorry if you had a bad experience (i've had bad experiences with Gigabyte, and HORRIBLE with Asus), sometimes it just happens. But if anything, Corsair is known first and foremost for their customer support, and the painless RMA procedure they have. Dude, they .. there was an instance where a H100 leaked and ruined a guy's PC, and they replaced his whole PC ...

Except that they're not. My bad experience was not anomalous, they're 1/10 on RR and D- on the BBB. And while I'm not saying that OPs story is correct and that Corsair is wrong this time, that is their MO. They show a long history of buck-passing and refusing to stand behind their product. If I hear something bad about them I'm inclined to believe it because I lived through it first hand and so have a lot of other people.
