Here's the deal. My good friend Sabrina asked me to go with her next Sunday afternoon while she gets a tattoo from her friend (he works at a local shop here in RI). I said I couldn't cause my Patriots will be trying to wrap up the AFC East title, and I wouldn't want to miss that! :Q
Anyway. I've been wanting another one too. So she agreed to change the time to later in the afternoon. So we could both get one. I have 4 already. A Biohazard symbol on the inside of my right calf, a homemade job on the left arm. It's basically a skelaton dude set up like a drag bike (done by my bud who's a Mass Art grad). Then on my right arm I have a Celtic armband, and on top of that (almost to the shoulder) I have my beloved Patriots logo. The logo is old, and could use some touching up, as could the homemade skelaton dude, but I want a new one instead.
One more problem. I can't afford to go over $100. Which still leaves some leeway, since it's her friend that's doing it.
So here's the question. Where should I get one next? Bearing in mind that I'm a big guy (i.e. fat ). So I don't think a chest, or ab one would look good. I also don't want anything on my back. If I can't see it myself, I don't want it
Also. Does anybody have any ideas? If there's any artists on here that would like to show me some work, or if anyone wants to link me to any sites. That would be way cool. My brother's into tats too, and has piles of flash I'm going to look at, but w/ the exception of Celtic, and Tribal stuff. I rarely like flash. Oh, and no 9/11 stuff either please. I find it much too disheartening.
To be more specific. I'm leaning towards something black, and white, like a tribal, or Celtic peice. Preferably Celtic as I'm almost 100% Irish.
