Please help choose economic speakers

I will be using the 4.1 onboard sound on Iwill KK-266. At some point, I hope to upgrde to Sounblaster 5.1 Live. This might not be for a while. What is the most economical, yet great/decent 3-piece speakers thatI can get. I will be using the system for music and DVD only.

Does BA make any 3 piece sets?



Your onboard sound to SBLive will not be a big diff, your IWIll has great sound. I say forget the SBLIve and spend the extra $ on louder speakers.

There are the Boston Acoustics BA790. I have them, and they sound pretty nice considering their relatively low cost. The Labtec Pulse 424 are supposed to be excellent for their price as well. Some people like the lower cost Altec Lansings, but personally I don't.
