Ok hmmm, try kicking the RAM down to DDR333 for the heck of it. Also try a regular IDE drive if you've got one kicking around, just to see what happens. But with the PAGE_FAULTS_IN_BLAH_BLAH BSOD that you got, I'd be thinking it was the RAM, or a voltage problem of some kind. Here's an easy thing to check: look at the rear of your PSU and confirm she's set to the right voltage for your region (115V or 230V as the case may be).

Hang in there!

Can't you run memtest86 or that Microsoft memtest thingy.
Bump for a daytime solution.

What I would do now:

Make sure all connections are right (4 pin atx etc.)
Clear CMOS
load setup defaults
turn off quick boot
decrease the IDE seeki
install one stick of ram
boot to a memory diagnostic
if it doesn't pass try the other stick
if it passes update the bios
try loading the os

Thanks for all your help guys. Ok, some updates.

I tried bumping it down to 333 and it didn't help.

Took out the 2 sticks of 3200 memory and put 1 stick of 2100 memory in. Reset BIOS to defaults. Didn't help.

Took out SATA drive , put in IDE, cleared CMOS, installed 2000, still keeps rebooting.

Put the SATA drive back in and put it on it's on power cable and the Video card on it's on cable. Didn't help.

Oh and i've replaced the mobo twice.

Some other info:

I am running this through a switchbox because i only have one monitor right now. Can't imagine that's the problem though. Also, when i first put this machine together, i installed Win XP Pro just fine and in fact the box worked for a few weeks. (with the BIOS at defaults and the exact same components i have now) It then started to rebooting itself once a day, then once an hour, then every few minutes, then i couldn't even get past POST. So i though i had a virus and reformatted the drive and have had this problem since. However, since i've replaced everything (except CPU and Video), i'm stumped. Plus, i don't understand why it worked for a few weeks without having to do anything to the BIOS.

*sigh*

Oh and i didn't use the memtest thingy because i took a stick of PC2100 from my other rig (which i know is working) and replaced the two PC3200 sticks. I assume this proculdes the memory being a problem, doesn't it?

Have you tried running your setup with the bare minimum? For now, try using ONLY one stick of ram, the cpu, the hdd, the cd-rom drive and your video card. Leave your mouse and all USB devices unplugged until you need to use them. Only keep your keyboard plugged in. It sounds like your ram is at fault here but you never know. Once my system kept giving me BSODs while trying to install Windows XP and guess what it was? My USB mouse could not be plugged in at the same time I was trying to do the installation; otherwise the installation itself would freeze up and would start giving me BSODs.

Nocturnal is right sometimes USB will cause the problem.
I know you said you replaced every component but did you try new cables and a different cdrom.
Also have you tried letting it load the setup files and entering the bios on the reboot and changing the boot device to the HDD manually.

Ok, i took the switch box out of the picture and unplugged the mouse. Still reboots itself. This time though at least it gets halfway through the setup. I've already switched out the DVD and i've tried changing the boot device to the HDD.

Is it possible i have a short somewhere? Also, could the Video card be a problem? I read in the manual that it needs to be set to 1.5v but can't tell on the video card if it is. Oh and the only connections i have on the mobo is the power and reset cables. I left everything else, including the USB stuff, unconnected.

Is there a different mobo i could buy that is good and reasonably priced that can handly the memory, HDD, Vid card and CPU i already have? Would it be worth it?

For those that care, the problem...unbelievably....was the CPU. The one thing i did not replace. I have no idea what caused the CPU to go bad but i replaced the CPU last night and everything is working great.

Thanks again for those who tried to help!
