Talk to the dentist. Was told I dont need to use the gauze any more, she said just eat and drink normally. When done use a tea bag instead of a gauze. If blood still fills my mouth with the tea bag then something is wrong and I need to contact them right away.

If not done correctly the risk of a dry socket is very high. The pain is said to be worst than being shot by a gun. So, yes I would wait for a correct answer. It is considured by far one of the most painful things a person can experience.

I had dry socket in 3 of my 4 wisdom teeth because my dumb young ass thought it was ok to smoke as soon as I got out of the dentist office. It is painful but nowhere near the worst pain I have ever had. My back was 10 times worse and my broken leg was also much worse. I can also promise you passing a kidney stone is in order of magnitudes more painful.

I would think getting shot would be more painful than any of those so whoever told you that is full of it.

After 24 hours I'm pretty sure you can remove the gauze LOL. Normally you only need it for like an hour or two. If it's still bleeding suck on hard candy, no, seriously! That's what my dentist told me when I got mine removed. It's the first time a dentist has actually told me to eat candy, I had to double check that I heard that right lol. Peppermint or anything like that should do.

the main thing is don't use a straw or create suction in your mouth to avoid a dry socket, just pour the water down your mouth/throat while keeping you mouth open.

Dude, blood belongs INSIDE your veins, not outside it! If it comes into contact with the blood veins in your stomach, the veins will dissolve and you'll start bleeding internally.

You cant drink water before surgery because of the risk of aspirating gastric contents into your lungs while sedated.

Drinking blood isnt harmful per se, but it can cause nausea. Also dont so into the ER for abdominal pain anytime soon, since theyll notice blood in your stool and give you a colonoscopy.
