I?ve been trying to upgrade my BIOS but have so far been unsuccessful?
I?m running W2K on a NTFS format.
I?ve created a Win98 system floppy disk and copied the correct AMI Flash utility (aminf329.exe) and the newest bios version (011016.rom excl. Lan).
After I boot from the floppy and run the .exe file the drive runs and everything seems OK until I get an ?Error 2? prompt and then nothing?
Screen dump:
DOS/4G Protected Mode Run-time Version 2.01a

· Chipset type ? SiS 735
· Flash Part ? Winbon49F002U
· Error 2 ? File does not exist.

I?m in the dark ? I?ve done exactly as described on ECSs website
What?s wrong I getting very frustrated so please help me!
If I end up killing my BIOS no one is to blame but myself!
