Please help me pick a Gcard

I have been reading for days and cannot come to a conclusion. Everyother board I check out there are arguments about if DX10 cards are going to be worth gettin in the early quarter or not, so please give me some input and tell me what you guys think.

I am building a new system, components are listed below. And am not sure if I should just go ahead and spend money on 7950 GX2 or just stick to 7900gt or even ATI X1900XTX.

What games do you play the most or plan on playing the most? Since you've been reading up on multitple threads, do you prefer 8xSAA or SLI AA over HDR+AA? Do you want a quiet heatsink and fan or does that not matter? Do you plan to overclock, and if so, using what means and to what extent?

If you are thinking about a midrange card such as the 7900GT, why not consider the X1900XT in place of the already pondering XTX? It is barely different and cheaper.

Forget anything related to dx10 for now.

x1900xt is probably what I would reccomend. At it's price point, nothing can touch it.

Also, what resolution are you going to play at. And are you going to run dual monitors?

I'd prefer a single card running at well the highest setting I can push. Out of the mid range cards I am definitely leaning towards the x1900xtx but the 7950 is what I think I really need though.

I am going to run a single monitor, 37" Westy LVM-37W3 @ 1920x1080, may be later on down the road I might get another W3, probably when they are like $1000 in 1-2 years.

Oh yeah and I definitely want something silent, I think in that case the x1950xtx would be quieter right?
