Please help me with my video problem

I just bought EVGA 6800gt from newegg..... my games get slow fps and are slughish.... I reallly hate this..... in css its realy bad .. i play on my rec settings and its slow .. please help me!!!!!! i dont know what to do my friend has almost same pc and his games run great!!!
I get good scores on benchmarks but games are bad .. please help!!!!!

problbly a stupid question, have you tried to uninstall the device and then reinstall it?
You could use SIsoftSandra to tell you what is going on with your system.

i did driver cleaner and installed it again .. nothing .. and how do i use SIsoftSandra to tell me my problem??

Ok i used SIsoftSandra to get my VIDEO CARD INFO ... does everything look good??

Your 71.25 drivers are WHQL but I wouldn't rely on that. Different systems react differently to some drivers.. Revert to 66.93 and see how it goes. You may see an improvement. ALthough I am using 71.80 for my 6800GT and get good FPS and 11,500 in 3dmark03 (AMD64 3000+, 512mb DDR266 (temporary fix))


Drivers...since your computer's hardware cannot be the problem here. Go in your BIOS and check your AGP settinggs:

Is 8x enabled? Fastwrites? Your AGP aperature settings?

Why is there video memory allocated on the hard drive? i dont have that.

you know what .. i will just reinstall my windows and format my HDD
