Please help or ideas needed for fellow TeAmmate RC in trouble - Lives near Dallas Texas

All my relatives, and myself have suffered from depression in one form or another, so i know how it feels. Its a bit cheesy, but one thing that when i think about it still helps me in darker moments is the phrase 'Only in the darkness can you see the stars' . Roy, i don't know you, but i know at least a small part of your pain, and i wish i could do more to help. In the end, the 'developed' world in which we live requires cash, so in that small sense i can at least do something to help a brother in arms. I truly believe that you will come through all this, and that in time you will rekindle your love for life. The dedication of this team to our fellow teamates proves that in this world, there are the few who truly care. I wish you all the best.

My turn for a bump.

They might have decided he needed 2 weeks or a month in a psych ward. Time for evaluation of meds and anti depressants take 2 weeks to start taking effect. Also was mentioned he had sleeping problems. What they do is wake you up and keep you awake in the daytime and only let you sleep at night to get you into a normal rhythm.
I was at one time a volunteer on a board for the homeless mentally ill and a aunt had depression at one time in her life.

I received a very short email from Roy on the 21st, as a reply to an email I sent him. Basically nothing specific, just Thanks and Best Wishes.

I sent a reply, but have not heard a thing.
