PLEASE HELP!!!!!

please help me.
my computer:
mobo: abit nf7-s rev2
cpu: 2800 athlon xp
mem: 256mb pc3200 ddr kingston
hd: wd 180 gb 7200 rpm
video: geforce 4 ti4200

i just got the parts for the computer a week ago and when i press the on button it sounds like everything is fine i hear the beep and everything the lights on the mobo are what they are supposed to be and everything sounds fine....but..... i dont get any video output at all (i alreadry tried the card on another computer and it does indeed work, and also i have positioned it correctly on the board also 2 or 3 times) the monitor says no input and i get nothing not even a bio boot up screen or anything just no video output whatsoever. can anyone help me with this??? any help much much much appreciated.

disconnect everything except the cpu, fan, memory, and video card. if it works, you probably wired in the IDE cables backwards or have an incompatible configuration on the cables (master / slave issues).

when in doubt, take it apart and start over 1 piece at a time.

how many beeps do you hear? 1, 2?? is it a long or short beep? is there a high-low beeping??

i tried taking everything out and and i still dont get anything on the screen. u think it could be that the agp port is messed up on the board?

i hear i think 1 beep, it sounds like it normally would on a good computer. i can hear it accessing the hard drive. when i dissconnect all the ide cables i still get nothing on the monitor

it could be the board. maybe you can RMA it. try resetting the cmos again first. don't forget to unplug the psu when you do it.

its a generic psu it has a p4 sticker on it
