A friend of hers died yesterday. She is very sad but holding on. Life can be so cruel sometimes. I love her more with every passing moment. I wish I was by her side to hold her in my arms, sing to her, comfort her. Still, my essence sings to her across the distance and our souls dance together, twirling above our problems and ailments. They dance in a rising, luminous spiral. They sing and give thanks for the day. They dance and dance into the night.

WW, your post -- which must have required a superhuman effort when you have been so ill -- was wonderful news to all of us who have been worried about you. I look forward to the day when you will be back here as your usual witty and perky self. In the meantime, all of us are wishing you a speedy recovery. You must have really been sick if you thought Campbell's chicken noodle soup was a treat. Better than the oatmeal slime all hospitals serve though.
