How is that racist? Look at the average Brazilian. How many times a day do they bathe? Is hygiene as important in Brazil as it is in America, Northern Europe, or Japan? What year was soap introduced in Brazil?

It is hard to say.

As being in many (NON LETHAL) fights in elementary school, kids would just make a circle and watch. NOBODY EVER stepped in.

In this case, not only do we not step in because we do not feel we need to, but quite frankly, if they killed one kid, would you want to risk being #2?

The world does not work like an After School Special. Although I agree that SOMEONE should have stepped up, in reality that someone might be sitting in a hospital room hearing about the other kids death.

These kids that beat the life out of the victim? They need to be on a work program. Somthing to get them off this track or we will be gearing about them doing this again and again until we are forced to pay for their room and board for the next 60 years.

Oh, BTW, if not that, then the legal fees for all the appeals to a death sentance.

Oh, if you say that should not be allowed, then you only need to look at how many lifers (potential death sentancers) have had their convicition overturned because of new evidence to realize that if we DIDN'T have that protection, a lot of innocent people would be dead......

Com'on man you give humans too much credit. Didn't you see the video of the guy shooting in the subway? He killed a cop on a platform CROWDED with people and only ONE guy comes out to confront the guy with the gun, fighting with him for a prolonged time while the platform CLEARS OUT and he ends up dying himself! EVERYONE else just tucked their tail between their legs and hid in the nearest hole.

But in this case judging by the savage nature of the attack I am willing to bet the humans involved here were egging the attack on and laughing or cheering.
