Don't let your loss be a waste, give the gift of better life and health to others. You aren't going to need that body when you are gone. Or that heart, liver, kidney, eyes, lung, pancreas, intestines, corneas, even skin and bones can be of help.

My Daddy was a donor. He had a terrific sense of humor and would have loved the questions I had to answer for him following his death this past September 3rd. Daddy died on a Saturday evening, the organ bank called me at 2am and left me laughing while answering questions about my Dad's sex life [he was 84!]. If he ever used drugs or traveled through areas where he might have been exposed to Ebola. LMAO.
Those interesting questions and the laughter helped me through a night that would have otherwise been one of solid grief and tears.
