PLEASE VOTE AGAINST ATI

Hey everyone,
First I'd like to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS, second i would like to ask you kindly to do something:
Xbitlabs.com are having a poll on best CPU manufacturer, GPU manufacturer, VGA card manufacturer... etc, anyways there are 12 nominations this year http://www.xbitlabs.com/misc/poll, i would like to ask you kindly please vote against ATI, this is for ATI's sake, their performance wasn't upto par this year, nor were their supply quantities, if we voted against ATI (i am not asking to vote for nvidia coz they did horribly too) we would encourage them to improve, as we don't like them to be behind competition and they were this year.

Non available geforce 6800GT pci-e, stupid paper launch of NF4, non functioning video processor fuctionality...why should ii vote against ATI ? NV deserves *at least* as much shite as ATI does...if not more...

Take a look at ALL bencmarks, not just Doom3 or Linux. Ati probably holds the crown on at least 40% of the most used benchmarks/games. True, the delivery rate is poor on the XT-PE.

Well, FYI: i have been an ATI zealot since 1999 when nobody took ATI seriousely and i have owned the RAGE FURY 16MB (i still have pictures of it if you like) and my nick name has been ATI_LOVER_99 at maximumpc forums since 1999, so never try to THINK i like nVIDIA, coz i have never liked them and i will never do...

still i am a customer and i buy what i am comfortable with (i have GF2mx400, GF3 Ti500 and GFFX5200), i really want ATI to know that all the people supporting them were NOT happy this year... okay?

Weak at Doom 3? Did you see the latest figures at Toms? Its only 4-6 fps slower than nVidia now (6800U vs X800XT PE) and it annihilates nVidia in HL 2. The tables have turned little guy:

ATI are rewriting some portions of their OpenGL drivers, this means they know that they are weaker than NV in OGL (that's why NV is better in workstation perf coz all is OGL)

i am not forcing anyone to votet for/against ATI coz this is YOUR decision not mine, but i'm asking nicely to do so for ATI's and our best.

Well EQ2 is a little too new I think to vote for it. You need to play MMO's quite a bit longer to realize how good/bad they are before knowing. I agree though, Voodoo should have been on there for notebook, they make killer notebooks. Maximum PC said Dell's notebook was laptop of the year

While ATI stumbled a bit this year, I don't think voting against them on an Xbit lab poll will mean anything to them one way or another. Even in their "stumbling" the X800 cards are pretty damn good, love my XT PE.

Profit will drive them to do better things next year, not polls.

they did something with R300 even when their profits and market share were not so high as they are now.
