I installed a Plextor M5P 256GB SSD a few weeks ago. I pulled up CrystalDisk to just see how it was doing yesterday... besides the very annoying lack of temperature display (which seems to be across every utility except Plextor's almost worthless toolbox... ) the Power on Hours is absolutely incorrect.
I have my computer set to never sleep... it's either on or off. I have the hard drives set to never sleep. This thing has been running, essentially, non-stop for 3 weeks... and CrystalDisk shows 57 Power on Hours? I bought a Seagate external HDD just for backups and installed it after the Plextor... it shows 312 hours, which is correct.
Last night I noted POH as 55, let it run all night and I come out this morning and it shows 57 POH... after at least 8 hours?
All of my other drives show what I believe to be more correct POH, including my original Agility3 SSD (7191 hours) and my original Samsung 840Pro before it died. What gives?
