I'm sorry..just wanted to clarify. As far as the number of shades of grey, there are NO differences between the palm iiixe and the handspring visor deluxe? This wasen't the first place I read that the palm has 16 greyshades and the visor has 4.

Is the quality of the display also pretty comparible between the two?

BTW, Staples charged my card properly (with the $40 coupon deducted).

just got the handspring. the nice folks at staples were nice enough to open it up and test it out for me before shipping it--the package was opened and finger prints all over it.

if anyone else gets a used/returned visor you can take the box and packaging slip (the one that says "this is not an invoice&quot to a local staples b&m and have it exchanged there. at least that's what the CSR from 800-3staples told me.

They sent me the Handspring Visor Prism 8 MB COLOR Unit for for ONLY $120. (Price with the Coupon and a Bag of Rubber Bands.)

Box was sealed....Too BAD the thing is BLUE!

PriceWatch showed the Prism at $469!!!!!!!!

Oh Well, Guess I just have to "Grin" and USE IT!

You guys are of course aware of a hack available of m100 to upgrade it to 8MB by replacing a memory chip($30). I saw it either here or on fatwallet.com just search for m100 8mb

2KooL, would you be so kind to explain to me how you managed to get a Handspring Prism from Staples for only $120 ??? Do you have a $349 off $469 coupon? I don't even see it in stock, but maybe that's just because they don't have it where I live (53703).

Good Ole' Staples did indeed make some kind of mistake. In a seach of their site, I did not even find where they carry the Prism version of the HandSpring.

Who am I to complain????

In their mass confusion to ship product, someone probably grabbed the item from the shelf and stuffed it in the box. It also could have been a mispack from handspring by placing the wrong product in a master carton.

I am not the one to look negatively on an obvious mistake.

Now, what do I do with my Palm IIIC? I wanted the HandSpring for special projects and development of add on modules.

Decisions.. Decisions....
