I found it.

Its BEST BUY.

in the weekly ad.

2 in SLI, would be better than any 7series single card including the 7900GTX, don't think it would beat a 7950GX2 though.

Uh, I don't think that's true. A 7900GTX should still be faster.

get the coupon from chubby billfold

the 12% off coupon for zone members should work, it says graphic and sound cards included right on the coupon.

making this $149.99 - $18.00 = 131.99 + tax, so less than $140.00 total for most

zone is now free so anybody can get it.

zone gets ya 2.5% in a gift card in 3 months, still thats another $3.75 saved.

it easily beats 7900GTX, and in some reviews 7900gs sli overclocked beats a stock 7950gx2

i am pretty sure dual 7900gs would be faster than a single gtx. one 7900gs is maybe 9-10% slower than a 7900gt. i think 2 would easily be about 7950gx2 speed as they would be clocked higher and have higher clocked ram

a 7950gx2 has 48 pipes at 500mhz with 1200mhz ram. a 7900gs has 20 pipes at 450mhz with 1320mhz ram.

higher speed ram usually wins, not to mention a 7900gs can easily be overclocked to 550mhz or more and it is much harder to o/c a 7950gx2. if that coupon really works you could buy 2 7900gs for only $264. im sure thats cheaper than a 7950gx2.

you can only use the coupon once per zone member account, but just get a friend to go with ya and sign up for a account and give them the money to buy the second card for ya.

course i sold my 939 sli motherboard to go conroe, and i am not paying $250.00 for the 680i Nvidia sli board. so no SLI for me.

Perfect timing for me. A friend had just signed up for reward zone today. I have a system that's been waiting for a videocard.

Very nice not to mess with rebates. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a better deal on Black Friday?

Rumor had it there was a 7950GT for $200 on a BF deal, but I haven't heard from where. Its $50 more, but its up to the buyer to decide if thats worth it. Plus, this deal is current and not just a rumor at this point.

That's a damn good price, and even better that it's retail. I got in on the Woot deal and that card hit 550/775 pretty easy, on stock cooling.

Don't forget PNY's warranty bulls***. The card isn't covered for its lifetime, it's covered for the time "lifetime" that PNY actually produces/distributes it.

BFG, XTX, and eVGA don't have this doublespeak, but they're not on sale for 149.99. Caveat emptor, always.

I just picked up one of these cards. The 12% coupon worked fine for me. $140 with taxes, $60 less than Newegg! I'm going to leave it in the package until after Black Friday so that if (in the unlikely event) there is a better deal, I can jump on it and still return this card.

There won't be. The BF card is an X1600 Pro AGP for $99.99.

Circuit City is a 7600 model (don't know which) for 89.99.

got one, used the coupon no problem.

price was ($149.99) - 12%($18.00)+tax5%($6.60)-zone points equal2.5%($3.30)-1%Discover card cashback($1.32) = $133.97 in Virginia

very tempted to try and get a second one and see if i can get away with useing the coupon twice.

and PNY warranty is 3 year if you register it within 90 days of purchase, no lifetime warranty of any kind, highly doubt I would have the card more than 6 months anyway, so no big deal there.

you want bad warranty service try VISIONTEK they suck and they charge you to ship the card both ways. not 1 way like most companys.

Damn, too bad that's an "in-store only" coupon. Tough to get to BB from where I'm at, plus I was hoping to stack it with the $10 coupon I got for the canceled PS3 order. That would have been sweet.
Oh well, just have to live with not buying something I probably don't need anyway.....though I would like to SLI it with the one I got from Woot.

Geez, I just bought an X850XTPE for $25 less a few weeks ago and I don't even have the system it is meant for built yet. This deal totally burns my balls. I even got a $100 GC sitting around.

Anyway, for anyone thinking of upgrading your video cards NOW and want something in the sub-$200 range, this is definitely a good deal and the card to get. I've been shopping around for parts for the last few weeks--checking reviews and prices--and this card usually retails for $185-$200 ($165AR), so a $50.00 price cut w/o rebate w/ a 12% off coupon is probably the best deal you'll see for the next 6 month.

The only other card that beats this in performance in this price range is the X1900GT/X1950Pro but those are still selling around $200. Plus those cards use a two slot cooling solution.

And for those complaining about warranty, this card has 3 years--1 year standard and 2 year extended when you submit your registration card. In three years, most of you will be upgrading to another card anyway.

This is a very tempting deal. I already have a 7600GT so I think I will wait until the next generation of sub-$200 cards that will be DX10 capable are available. Thanks for the post!

this seems pretty cheap considering 7900GS I guess 8800 is pushing prices down. However, there's tax don't forget.
