i'd say pny has been one of the fastest rebate houses for me ever. bought lots of video cards and ram and SD cards before from them, never had a problem.

I also seem to remember a fairly rapid turn-around for a PNY rebate. The fastest one I ever had though was Tamron (within 10 days of mailing, I had a check in hand).

I've had one $40 rebate years ago on a 6600 GT that PNY's rebate house refused on bogus grounds, and gave me the runaround on resubmitting (twice!). I've gotten other rebates from them since, but IMO they can be as bad as anyone else if funds run out (my guess on what happened).

though that avexir stuff has a pretty bad reputation at least from seeing comments on all the deals mwave has had on it.

That's got to be a freaking record.

I remember getting at least one of my rebate checks from PNY 2 weeks after I mailed the form.

The Avexir RAM is 1.65v whereas the PNY RAM is 1.5v.

1.65V ddr3-1600 can run 1.5V 1333 .

i think basically 1.65V 1600 and 1.5V 1333 are basically the same, just pre overclocked and tested at 1.65V.

the ones that are really special are 1.5V 1600

I got this exact ram twice. This past time (About one or 2 weeks ago) I got this same exact ram for this exact ar price. I have 25GB of DDR3 ram now so I don't need anymore.

PNY is Very Good with their rebates. Only 2 weeks and I got 2x rebates for different ram deals. One of the absolute best when it comes to mir. I wish every single company out there was as good as PNY's rebate service.

didnt PNY go bellyup up a while back, and the brand name get bought by someone
they gave me the runaround on a bad vidcard, finally stopped answering totally, but this was coupla years ago. Swore I'd never buy from them again, then later saw good reports
