no that is tiger direct selling through amazon.


the rebates are vendor specific, so if you bought tigerdirect through amazon's portal you wouldtn get it i dont think.

The rebate goes according to the purchase date, not ship date, so it should be ok (in theory at least).

That would depend on which date Amazon puts on the invoice - the original date that you ordered on or the date they charge your card. I don't think I've ever had anything backordered on Amazon, so I don't know, but you'd probably want to be sure on that before you order

No, but I used that IC Diamond stuff and got a thermaltake HS/fan..can't remember the model but it has an orange fan with 3 blades and set to manual. My microfly case has a temp display and it idles at 29 to 33c. This is on a low fan speed mind you. When I game, I turn it up (from about a third to 2 thirds speed) and it stays around 60F not at full speed. I had to cut a section of the case frame out as the hs/fan area has a bar running across. Cables all tidy and the PNY 9600gt is cool and quiet compared to other cards, especially the ATI ones.

well, I ordered it yesterday from Amazon when it was in stock and it looks like the video card shipped today, 4/18 right at the deadline for the rebate. I had some $$ extra in gift certificates so this deal just got sweeter.

You mean 29 to 33 degrees celcius, right? If you really had it down to 29 degrees Fahrenheit, you could make ice by putting ice trays in your case!

I just ordered the PNY 9600gt. Through ZipZoomFly. Loved that I was able to use PayPal.
Anyone check out resller rating reviews of ZipZoomFly? For the last 6 months they really have sucked!!! It's the only reason why I didn't order a mobo, HDD, and RAM with the 9600gt.

I ordered mine thru ZZF, got the order confirm and the ship notice with tracker
Supposed to be 3-7 days FedEx and came in 3 working days
The box was good 200 lb test, had air bags on top of product - nothing on bottom.
The one thing I have learned about ZZF going back around 5 years (or more ???) is that if you are a rush oriented person, I wouldnt use them.
Also, if there's any kind of problem, there will be grief - so only ordering a single big bargain item that is a common piece of hardware is indeed the best policy.
I recall thinking about ZZF in the old days as like a junk yard - once they get your money, its hell getting it back
Dunno how it is right now, but it used to be a boiler room with limited English folks, and communication was near impossible.

One minor gripe: step 5 where you get the final complete form cant be used as proof - it doesnt say ZZF anywhere and the rebate says it must.
The packing slip has hardly any info also.
The only useable invoice is the my account record but it is multi colored with ZZF buried in a red backround - prints like crap
I had to put a screen capture on a floppy and have officemax print it.
They really need a printer friendly POP.

For the guy who asked - the card is 9.3" overall, and 9.0" from the bracket plate to the back of PCB
Basically it will be even with right end of full size mobo.
