Considering it is $100+ cheaper than the cheapest 280x, I'd say it's a pretty damn good deal!

beware pny's "lifetime" warranty, it's defined as the period the card is still in production. i've owned several of their cards without issue though.

I dunno about PNY graphics cards since I never used one of theirs, but PNY makes some pretty decent hardware.

I have a PNY 770 GTX OC version and can't complain about it. I push it hard with BF4 and it runs great.

Unfortunately it is true. Their warranty is absolute garbage. That's a great price for the card, but i wouldn't be willing to take the risk personally. I'd rather pay more for a company that stands behind their product like MSI, EVGA, or Asus.

I'v had a PNY product, they are pretty decent afaik. never needed to use my warranty, Price for teh card is good tho.

Would be better off buying a used card with a "regular" warranty since 7 series cards more than likely will not be in production by the year end or beginning of next year.

Still a great deal. If it's not DOA, you have pretty good odds that it will last.

I bought a PNY GT6800 a few years back from Best Buy. The PNY registration system wouldn't recognize the serial number on the card, (please enter a valid serial number) I emailed their customer support with pics of the card, the box, all the stickers containing the serial number and other crap on the card...they said they couldn't help...and when the card crapped out just over one year later, they refused to warranty it because "I hadn't registered it."

I won't buy another PNY product ever.
