I hope this isn't a repost, but this looked pretty good to me if you can wait for the $40 rebate to come through. I was holding out for a GF3 Ti200 under $100, but this looks pretty good. Also says that it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY.

If you're wondering how this card stacks up to the Ti series, this link should help. It looks like the GF3 just edges out the Ti200, but is not quite the performer that the GF3 Ti500 is....

if you were looking for a ti card under $100, i think at compuplus (www.compuplus.com) they have a retail PNY Verto GF3 TI200 for $111 + 15 s/h - 30 rebate, which is $95. I don't know whether the GF3 DDR or Ti200 is faster though.

I THINK the Ti series uses a smaller fabrication process. If I'm right then a Ti200 MAY be a better choice because it will run cooler and virtually all of them will overclock to the original GF3 levels. Currently my Ti200 overclocks to beyond Ti500 levels with no instability problems at all. YMMV Either card is good.

Though if I were buying a card now I'd hold out for a GF4 4200. They should be available as low as $150 within a relatively short amount of time.

I'm watching the Ti4200's, too. I hope you're right about the prices. I'm thinking they may stay high for a while, since they're still so new. But it looks like a great card.

The GF3 DDR is a great board i think it's much better than the ti200. I already have a ti200 but I'm getting the GF3 for a second system it has faster specs and now my other system will ROCK too.

This is a super deal from Tiger even without the rebate but I'll take the $40 back anyways.

Thanks kbaxter, I just ordered one. $108 w/shipping AR for a brand new card is a nice deal. Beats all the others I've been looking at. As for the
limited quantity the CSR said they had 400 in stock.

This is a nice deal, however; I know Tiger Direct has crappy reviews. After checking ResellRatings.com their scores havn't got any better-overall rating is 3.62 out of 147 reviews.Not very impressive. I prefer to use a more reputable vender to share my hard earned with! IMHO.

I bought this card in October of last year for $300. In the default mode, the GF3 is faster than the Ti200. I don't know which should OC better. That is always anyone's guess anyways. This video card market is moving way too jh*!IDF#(#DLing fast for my budget. I thought that this card would have some value for longer than a few months. Jump on this while you can.

The rebate has kind of funky phrase when it says "Checks will be mailed 6 to 8 weeks after closing of program." Since the rebate doesn't close until September 30, it sounds like you might have to wait until Thanskgiving to get your $40 rebate! Six months is a long, long time to wait. Maybe I am being paranoid, but with the way rebates work, it would not surprise me to see this type of thing happen.
