Pny Life Time Warranty?

does PNY have a lifetime warranty on its video cards? if so, can someone post me a link, because i cant seem to find any thing about its warrantys or what they offer.

Are you trying to rma your card? Unfortunately their warranty is only good for the life of the product run. So when they quit selling the card, the warranty is up.

well i dont know if they made this item anymore, i bought a geforce4 ti4200 card, i bought it for 65 bucks on a forum, the memory died or something on it died, anyways im thinking of just saying it died, and i just want a diff card if they dont make that model anymore. what do you think i should do?

yeah, but i know you can do it without receipt, what my friends did with the blue optical mouse that microsoft put out, they called in microsoft and told them their mouse broke, they ask for a receipt and the serial number on the bottom of it, they just said they lost the receipt and depending on who you call they will put in a order to your house. You dont have to send them anything if your lucky.

PNY != MS. PNY is some crappy chinese company that could care less if you are happy. It's all about low prices.

PNY makes excellent cards todd, their warranty is just not geared towards gamers, overclocking or card altering in any way voids it. And what they define as "lifetime" is just how ever long they produce the card you own, for instance, if you own a PNY geforce fx 5600, you are outta luck, because that card is no longer produced by them. I've owned all PNY cards for the past 3 years, and I have had no problems at all.

PNY's "lifetime" warranty (like most others) is only for the product's retail lifetime. They might RMA it, they might not, YMMV.

My PNY Ti4200 just went bad on me. It's freezing everytime I enter a 3D game. Called PNY, they told me it's probably the memory on the card going bad and they will replace it. They offered to cross-ship if they have the card in stock for $30 non-refundable fee. I declined and decided to just send it in and wait on the replacement.

I'm off to FedEx my card.

By the way, I've never overclocked or modified the card.

Huh. PNY helped me with one of my Quadros - I had a bad cable with it. Got a free replacement.

Maybe they just secretly hate you consumer-level chumps.

I RMA'd my PNY Geforce3 Ti-200 a couple of months ago with no problem. Called PNY and they had me send the card and a copy of my original invoice (date 11/9/2001from NewEgg - can you believe they still had the invoice available under my online order history!) and they sent me a replacement. The rep's only comment was that it was a pretty old video card. Definitely worth a call because if they have any in stock they will honor the warranty.

I case anyone is interested, I received my replacement card today. They gave me a 8x AGP card. My old one was 4x. I had originally shipped it via FedEx ground. 2 weeks total from start to finish. Not too bad.
