Compusa has this with $39.99, look for item number 289575.
Staples will pricematch (if not the first CSR try to call again), and they have $10 off coupon + $20 rebate. Look for item number 499682.
Don't tell me you cannot do it, I just did.

BTW if you are not successful using $10 off coupon, add item 453963 which is $3 after rebate (Sony audio CDR pack) and this will get you free shipping too, bringing your total to about $45-47 before $10 and $20 rebates so you again have memory and CDR pack for less than $20, taxes included!!!

Best of all, everything can be done by phone wherever you are and you don't have to run around or drive around like those Tech Guy type fanatics in FW.

Another thing, don't run immediately to FataWalletta to post the great deal "you found."

I don't think you understood.

I am talking about online deal, not runaround the B&M. Got it?

How many of you live next to CompUSA so that you can drive around to pricematch?
My closest Staples is 2 miles away, my closest CompUSA is 25 miles away. It is not a deal to drive 50 miles just to have a chance get a stick of ram. And then waste more time to price match it in CC. Order online and replace the chip if needed in your local store.
And don't wait because it will go out of stock in CompUSA FAST!

By the way, somebody needs to tutor those ignorants in FW, so much nonsense about PC memory in one thread I have not seen for a while.

Really?
You are going to teach me?
Do you have some Infineon or Samsung spreadsheet to tell me about chips and PCB or you keep that all in your head.
Man, I am the original poster of these deals, before all the parrots jumped on it.
Wanna tell me I am reposting myself?

Hmmmm, are you paid royalties on these postings? Chill out.

This is not the "freshest" of postings anyways.... what, about the 3rd iteration of the Compusa deal?

How is pricematching by phone considered an online transaction?

Well, you will have to direct them online for PM. Plus it makes a little difference because you sit on your butt and order or threadcrap, whichever comes first.

That is what I like in here.
Yep, but this is the first posting that makes a deal without leaving your house. I did it without moving out of my chair.
You need not to humiliate yourself before high school students and in the line trying to score few bucks back in your pocket. Howz that for a deal? Or spare your time, gas, and car driving erraticaly to be the first one on a 6 or B3 chip.

Before you all add your wisdom, the deal will go OOS.

My order is $41.25, before the rebate, meaning $21.25 AR, tax and shipping included. The only "better" deals involve drivearounds and hassle with CC staff and store managers. Good luck.
If I am not happy with the stick I'll walk to the closest Staples and replace it with one of the three different 333s. They'll probably have at least one. Maybe I'll tell you about that, maybe I won't.

well, its not a simple online -no human interaction- transaction but its not B&M either
dunno: catagory online,subcatagory PM?

I don't "do" PMs but I do like the SKU uptop in the thread where you can see it

What is the $10 coupon? Is it a $10 off $40... or $50? You'll have to lake up the price diff then.

When I ordered it was 48 hours in CUSA online. It is now 3-6 days, meaning it is just a matter of hours before it is OOS.
Then no pricematch will go.
Again, I rejected the first CSR in Staples because she counted in overnight shipping charges. It went through with the second lady. Altogether lasted about 15 minutes, mostly waiting them to verify.

What is the $10 coupon? Is it a $10 off $40... or $50?
I used $10 off $50, with no problem. The key about Staples phone orders are CSRs. They all act different, call two at least before you like the price. If you call 10, you'll get 10 different prices.
If you cannot get what I got, get some of those almost free AR CDRs to fill it up, you'd even get free shipping then which is more than $7 in my case!

The time is running out because CUSA online is going OOS.

My first call went that way, the second call went through for $41.25 before rebate.
You can tell the CSR that Staples cannot deliver overnight since they use UPS delivery. That is what they charged me with, $7.95 preciselly. Now when I think about that, I should have ordered that Khypermedia CDR pack!

"Original poster of these details", but with just 10 posts total????

Time to pricematch some humility, I'd say. Chill out.

Yup, Crucial, for example, keeps dropping the price of its ram about $2 every other day or so... You know a price drop is due in 4-6 weeks or less when a rebate hits the streets...

What - are you like 14 years old or something? Have some maturity and reserve when you shoot your mouth off (all 10 posts worth at that)!

Yes I will teach you.
Yes I do have a Samsung chip marking PDF. If you want to see it just PM me.
No, you are not the original poster. Jowaju at FW was the first to even post about the CompUSA price, and people flamed him about not giving enough details.

The concept of doing this deal online is not new. It's been discussed in the billions of threads here. I commend you for mentioning that the deal can be done on the phone (so as not to waste gas and driving around town), but don't claim credit to a deal that was not originated by you. That's just wrong.

Amazing people. Yes, have you ever think that people have two nicks? Forget their passwords or switch the forums?
Yes, I am the original poster of all the 333 in 266 deals in FW, I posted that under two different names there, for three different brands of memory, PNY included. The guys there are simply repeating all that week after week whenever new deal comes in.

======================================================================================

This deal gets even better. You can revise the order later by adding stuff and coupons. My 256 MB stick just got under $15 AR, without me getting out of the chair. Great.

To those here who think they can teach me about memory in general - I say thank you, it has been rather funny to have people teaching me the stuff they learned from caligula on FW not long ago. You can probably try to sell some of that memory to me, you know the one you get from the deals I posted there, or those parrots that were revising them. See if I'd buy from you.

Sometimes I did share the deals with you, this is the case in this thread, if you are smart enough you could get this 256 PC2100 for LESS THAN $20 without driving around and humiliating yourself trying to pricematch. LESS THAN 20 with taxes counted in. Together with a pack of CDRs for free.

That is what Caligula knows. I also know how to replace this PC2100 with PC2700 in the store without humiliating myself and without rush, and all legal. I thought of telling you that but somehow I feel not this time. At least not before I do it.

Ahem, anyway welcome to AT caligulus. You sound just like caligula of FW that posted those hot deals on memory and cases.

CompUSA has a $20 rebate (good until 12/18) on their PNY DDR memory but most B&Ms do not have the rebate form and rebate is not advertised in the Sunday flyer. Rebate is mentioned online but form is not there.
