News Flash!!!

The Sticker "...Crushes.." on the box don't mean anything. Open, install, and boot, only then you will know for sure.

No, PNY is thanking themselves, for mishipping a handful of 128s in 64 boxes, which somehow like the fish for Jesus, magically multiplied into thousands of 128s "claimed" by AT & FW buyers, and caused many more untold minions to buy out stock on the 64s.

brilliant marketing

BTW the benches between 64 and 128 versions are small at best, so for everyone living in reality that ended up with 64s, be happy, they are a great card for the cash.

I dropped by my local BB in San Bernardino, CA today and found they have five old PNY ti4200 in stock without sticker. I think they are all 128 mb cards because the one I bought is 128 mb. Oh, you can pricematch for $80 if you can prove to them you ordered it online for $80 last week.
Good luck

Which as far as i'm concerned they were. They were never even removed from the box. I just looked in. This was done after the store closed and there were no customers in the store. As for my interest in seeing if I could find one of these cards... like I said I was just curious. I have a 32mb gf2 gts and it works just fine for tribes 2. That is about all I play. I had one of the 4200s on order from bb.com for $80. ($84 with tax) But i cancelled because I couldn't afford it. I got one of the $20 netgear routers instead. Now that was a good deal.
Too bad you couldn't afford the video upgrade... At least you got in on the great Netgear deal... It would have been nice if you had put a sticker on the outside of the video boxes after you wrapped them back up to indicate what type of card was in it. People here would not have griped as much.

Guy did no harm as far as I can see. If I worked at BB and read this thread I'd probably do the same.

Exactly! I bought a few cards and was hoping that one of the boxes without the sticker had the 128 mb card in it. No such luck. I got down to my last box and it had the sticker on it and guess what? This is the only card that I bought that IS a 128 mb card and it has the 64mb beats 128 sticker on it. Doh! Whose bright idea was it to tell everyone that the boxes with the sticker didn't have the 128 mb cards inside?

You must admit it sound bad to say 64 is better than 128 on the box and then put a 128 inside.
