PNY, VisionTek, Leadteck, Gainwood GF4 ti ... which to get if I don't care for any extra feature ?

yeah.. I have 2 Q

so far..I have heard the following GF4 Ti 4400 card... PNY, Visiontek, Leadtek, Gainward, Abit....

now.. I saw a lot of you are returning your PNY for your LeadTek .. also heard the Gainward is good for o/c ...

if all I care is the card itself.. ie .. I don't need firewire.. dual monitor support etc etc.... .. just 1 card .. output to 1 monitor..simple ...

which card is the best buy for Ti4400 ?

look like LeadTek and Gainward after weeks of following this forum ... any other suggetsion ?

Visiontech provides no frills retail boxes, which gives YOU the lowest cost. I went with Visiontech.

I would go with the Gainward, purely for the fact that it will ship overclocked.
Then, you will easily be able to overclock it further if you want.

Leadtek is my choice. They make solid, stable boards with very high image quality.

Abit cards are inexpensive according to pricewatch. Might want to check it out. Has a nice Black PCB and silver ramsinks. Not bad I have the Ti4600 version of it.

If you think you are going to have the card for a while, you may want to get the Visiontek or PNY since they have lifetime warranties (I would favor Visiontek here). If you don't care about the frills but still plan to pay $300 I would get the Gainward since it does have some frills but you are not really paying any more for them. It is the only Ti4400, so far, that has Video in/ Video out, plus it has Ramsinks which will help keep them cool and stable. The Leadtek has a monster of a heatsink that covers the ram as well and runs with 2 fans. Abit is a little mystery as not a lot of people use their videocards but many use thier motherboards.
