It's for a basic home system, nothing too fancy.
I was originally recommended this one by the company selling the cctv's, but I wanted to ask here first. That one only has 4 powered ports, I would prefer more.

The one you linked to is good choice if 4 POE ports is all you need; but you've already said you need more. The switch frowertr linked to (same brand, even) is a fine switch and would serve you well.
Keep this in mind though; within reason, it never hurts to go a bit bigger. I.E. future expansion in mind. Typically, a 24-port POE switch is not double the price of a 12-port POE switch. With backbone equipment (switches/routers) things can get expensive real fast. But, basic managed switches like you're looking at are not too pricey. If you need 6 POE ports right now, will an 8-port switch fit your needs a year from now? You can use 1 of the 8 ports to uplink to another switch (assuming you don't use the fiber ports, which no home user will), which leaves you w/7 POE ports. Is that enough? Might be wise to spend another $30 or so and get a 16-port POE switch. Netgear makes fine consumer-level gear, and they have a wide range of POE switches.
Just trying to put the bug in your ear.
ps
Make sure your switch is on a decent AVR UPS and it will last basically forever. POE standard wont' change in the foreseeable future. Neither will Gigabit Ethernet. Spend a few extra bucks on a good switch with support from a good manufacturer. It is that important.
