POEM: Illegal Immigrants


I cross ocean, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.

Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need go see Welfare.

Welfare say, "You come no more,
We send cash right to your door."

Welfare checks, they make you wealthy,
Medicaid it keep you healthy!

By and by, Got plenty money,
Thanks to you, TAXPAYER dummy.

Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them 'come, fast as you can'

They come in turbans and Ford trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks.

They come here, we live together,
More welfare checks, it gets better!

Fourteen families, they moving in,
But neighbor's patience wearing thin.

Finally, white guy moves away,..
I buy his house, and then I say,

"Find more aliens for house to rent."
In my yard I put a tent.

Send for family they just trash,...
But they, too, draw welfare cash!

Everything is very good,
Soon we own whole neighborhood.

We have hobby it called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.

Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?
We get free! We got no bills!

TAXPAYER crazy! He pay all year,
To keep welfare running here.

We think America darn good place!
Too darn good for white man race.

If they no like us, they can scram,
Got lots of room in Pakistan.

i dont know. i dont necessarily agree/disagree with this poem but i found it humorous . i'm sure there could be some loopholes tho where you can get welfare even tho you're an illegal. for example, i think it sounds plausible for an illegal immigrant to get welfare since he/she has a child born in the US.

There are many forms of welfare. For example, getting treated in a hospital if you get sick or injured and have no money to pay for it. Who do you think pays for it? The hospital doesn't do it for free. SOMEBODY pays for it somewhere. It's called the taxpayer.

Public schools are another example. They are paid for and run on taxpayer dollars. Yet nothing stops illegals from sending their kids to them and getting on low cost of free school lunch programs.

"Welfare" comes in many forms. Not just a check in the mailbox.

Fair enough. Although I'm still reluctant to believe that illegals come here just to get free sh!t and laugh at us white folk. I agree that welfare needs to be reformed, but I don't think everyone who's on it is some cheating, mooching devil.

If they'd enforce the border security and the immigration laws currently on the books, then illegals drawing so much public welfare wouldn't be such an issue. I guess nobody ever expected our own government to have such wanton disregard for our own laws that they thought it necessary to build in provisions to the welfare system to guard against exploitation by illegal aliens.

Illegal immigrants getting checks in the mail from the goverment? People getting rich on welfare and buying houses with the welfare money? Free dental care? Which illegal immigrants are arriving in turbans and ford trucks? I don't think we have a huge Arab illegal immigrant problem, and the illegals we have didn't drive up in trucks.

Yes there's a problem with illegal immigration, but this poem doesn't do anything to describe them.
