The original is still a good watch. The only thing that seems dated is Lori Petty. Hard to believe she was an "it" girl for a bit.

NO!.....this was THE role Patrick Swayze was born to play and Reeves actually puts in a fine performance here, outstanding film.

I think it looks fine. I won't see in the cinema, but I'll check it out if it makes it to Prime/Netflix.

Also, no one is forcing anyone to watch it... so, put your tits back in your shirts ladies, no one here has an appetite for moobs.

Yea, they said much of the same when the re-boot of "Flight of the Phoenix" was released only to watch it descend into "epic fail" territory faster than a plane crash. I predict the EXACT same will happen here.

This new one looks good from the previews... to me though it should just be a movie with a different title since it isn't really a remake. Heisters with surfing doesn't make it "Point Break"
