where the heck is onvia now? i was on my way to a getaway and now they have taken it off. maybe it the certain hours of the day thing.

I just went to pointclick and all the sites are listed and available.
Just ordered the Plextor finally.

1) It specifically states in the pointclick TOS that you have to click to the site via pointclick to make the purchase.

2) You can forward the email from ANY email address. As long as the receipt has your name on it and you include your pointclick registered email in the message you should be fine.

3) The reason it is in the reimburse list and not available as a clickthrough is you have 30 days to submit the reimbursement form (unless that changed while I was on vacation)

How long does it take to Approve a reimbursement?

I didn't click through Pointclick to get to onvia. Hopefully, I can still get the reimbursement approved.

onvia is not on their site to click on. can i just make a purchase and then get the %10 off. i don't want to miss out again.

Who cares? They show you the TOS what, once, and there's no link to it anywhere on their page? Plus, every other place they mention the "4 necessary steps" to earn a reimbursement, they fail to mention that you must click to the site via pointclick. No wonder they don't enforce it--they can't.

Don't be so sure ...

MoneyMINTR: They do checks at the end of each month. But it seems like if you order after the middle of the month and then submit the reimbursement, it drags on til the next month. But it's never been longer than that. I ordered a Sony G400 the first week of June, and got the check for it last week. Another order I placed a week or so later, I didn't get the ckeck during the last pay period like I did for the Sony order. Not complaining yet, esp. with a G400 for $485 to my door!

I am new to PointClick. Due to the overwhelming post on Onvia and PointClick, I decided to join in and take a look at it.

The only problem is I can't find Onvia on the list. I beleived it should be under Computer/Electronics category. It's not there. Am I missing anything here in the middle of no where? Do they take it off the list or I am just stupid to find it?

it seems that you need to get up pretty early to take advandage of this deal.Onvia seems to be off the PC network rather fast every day.

I just joined PointClick last night (or actually this morning since it was after midnight) and then emailed them asking if I Onvia was still there even though it was't listed on Computers/Electronics. I also asked if I was still eligble for the 10% reimbursement even though I purchased a item from Onvia BEFORE I signed up with PointClick but that the item is on back order and my credit card has not be charged. They replied saying that I will not be reimbursed because I need to have purchased it AFTER I signed up. Then they said something which I didn't cleary understand that sounded like I could be reimbursed. So I emailed them back asking them to clarify it. Anyway, I think you would get reimbursed because on the reimbursement forum, it is listed. If I have to order after sign-up, I will cancel my order from Onvia and reorder since its on back order anyway!

rnmcd: Well they didn't mention about why Pointclick is not under the Electronics/Computer category but did say that I wouldn't be reimbursed since I ordered before signing up. That sounds like it that orders from Onvia will be reimbursed as long as you have signed up before ordering. They recommended that I cancel my order from Onvia (which I just did) and reorder. And besides, on the reimbursement forum, Onvia is listed.

got sony cpd g400 from onvia through pointclick toward the end of may so since the 10% checks get shipped out at the end of the month, they shipped it out and i got it around 20th of june. final total for the sweet monitor =

$560 some odd rip-offs
-$30 green ones from onvia coupon
-10% of $530 = $53 goodies
----------------------------
= $477 final total for the sony g400!!!

this is a super deal! thanks to pointclick!

i got the onvia thing... but what about the coupon?

i used the amex coupon, and the emailed confirmation had it. but when i checked the order at onvia's site, it did not show... i got the plextor drive, and it arrived. i have not opened it yet. they may not have charged my CC yet either...

They never show coupon deduction in your account information on their website. You'll only be charged with right amount(list price-coupon). All my orders went through very well with coupon. Don't worry about it.

I went thru pointclick to onvia this morning at 8AM EDT, like the other poster was told by pointclick. Got my order in. Now I just have to wait and wait and wait for the reimbursement check.
