Pointclick RIP?

At this point it looks like Pointclick is going under. DNS lookups are failing now for www.p0intclick.com so it looks like they're taking down shop. They still owe me $150. It looks like the best we can do now is to file a Proof of Claims once they file for bankruptcy and get what little piece of their assets are left.

Hmmm, I'll see if I can pull bankruptcy court information from Pacer some time this week. I'll be damned if I'm giving up that money!!

I e-mailed them like 10 times and got a reponse on the last one. They told me to spend the money in my account on merchandise and they would send the refund during november. So I did. Now they owe be $50 because I spent money I didn't really have! We have to be able to do something about this. I don't like being lied to and cheated out of money. When someone files a lawsuit, etc. please let us all know!

So, IANAL but I think that if they do declare bankruptcy they only owe us a percentage of whatever assets are left. IIRC the entire point of bankruptcy is to limit liability.

Has anyone called them recently? The site for Netpartner, Pointclick's parent company is working for me though.

I am going to call netpartner tommorow and demand an explaination. I urge all of you who are owed money by Pointclick to do the same.

I am betting that they hoping people will just forget or let it slide. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN.

We played by the rules and they owe us - even if it's only a few bucks.

Netpartner.com is back up... Hopefully Poiintclick.com will be back up too, but who knows. I am hoping that this was some type of major server crash over the Thanksgiving holiday. But then again, they might just put the Netpartner.com site back up to ease the concerns of any potential investors they have. In any event, they still owe us our money.

Well I'm not very hopeful at this point but I had about $185 in my account that would have been nice to use for a xmas gift. I'd love to have it but it's not going to kill me since the writing has been on the wall for quite awhile now. $100 of that was even from a contest they held awhile back that I won. Of course, it was supposed to originally be a $100 GC for Express.com but that fell through so they credited my account. Oh well...you win some, you lose some.

I printed out my current ballance page on November 18, just in case. I was thinking ahead for the bankruptcy filing. lol - Let us know when you hear something. I'm in!

I screencapped my balance page too.. 2 approved purchases for 800$ of credit. That's what I've had built up since January. So all you guys complaining about your 10% of 23$ PISS OFF! J/K

Seriously I hope they come back somehow so I can get SOMEthing, even if it's a bankrupcy proof of claim..
if they're trying to quietly disappear, they could go to jail for bankrupcy fraud or something like that.
so whoever's in Utah, looking up that location and bankruptcy information for them (if that is the case) then please pass it on to the rest of us. Thanks!

Well, the DNS lookup today for Pointclick is working but there's no server on the other end of the wire...

First off, netpartner.com is back up. Check out http://www.netpartner.com/company/management.html and look at the founder and chairman, Jody . It's the CEO/founder of Pointclick. The same guy that kicked us down from $35/day so I won't be forgetting his name anytime soon (Boy those were the days)

Secondly, I am owed just a tad under $1000, so I am very intestered in what is happening with pointclick. We do need everyone to email/call and find out WTF is going on.

I have $195 approved and pending for a check...I have gotten over $850 total from them so far...so I won't say I got totally screwed..but if they tell me they are sending a check then disappear..I get pissed...

At some point they owed me a check for $575 and it took over 6 months to get it..I called them and yelled and sent 100's of emails and eventually got it...

if anyone else is willing to drive up to Utah..I am down...bust down their door and demand my money...we need to show them they can't hide behind their servers forever...

I sent an e-mail to the PR firm listed on netpartner's site and here is what he had to say:

business. I was hired about 4months ago and actually never got the green
light to start a PR campaign. I have been asking them to remove my name
from their site for months now. I love how my contact information is the
only one on the site! Trust me you are not the first to send me a note.

The only thing I can suggest is calling them ASAP. Who knows how long the

I emailed the same guy and got the same answer..i called them this morning and the answering machine said it was past businesss hours(yet it wasnt) and i couldnt leave a message because it was full...

I am livid...they were holding a contest, if McDonalds advertised a contest with prizes then never gave out any prizes they would be sued...and so should pointclick.
