Anyone else excited? Apparently the game might be very popular based on the initial tournaments they have had in the US. Gamestop had one on CA recently and they had to cut off registrations as too many people entered. This game might be huge at EVO this year next to SFV.

Initial reports are coming in from people that have an early copy of the Wii U release that it's a lot deeper game that Namco has shown in the videos.

I'm definitely interested. After Mario Party 10 and Mario Tennis turned out to be garbage, and I didn't like the demo of Splatoon, Yoshi's Woolly World ended up being the only game I got on my Wii U in 2015. There really isn't anything I want in 2016 either, with the exception of Pokken Tournament. My concern with it is the lack of characters, as 11 is pretty weak for a franchise with 721 options. How Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee were left off is baffling, as two examples.

It still looks super cool though, and I can't wait to play. I'm kind of surprised that this isn't getting a 3DS version, since Smash did. The only reason I MIGHT not get this is that I don't have anyone to play it with, potentially. That, and the fact that my Wii U is almost never used and I'm considering getting rid of it altogether because the games are so few and far between, and the NX is approaching. Hopefully GameStop and/or Best Buy have some kind of Wii U-to-NX trade deal better than GS's current offer of $100 for my 32-GB one.
